MCPD Arrest Report 07/03/2017

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 72-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 122 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 06/30/2017:

Tamara L. Manning, 35 years of age, address: First St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 06/30/2017 @ 10:15 a.m.

Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Fine on 06/20/2017

Tamara L. Manning was located and arrested at the Morgan City Police Department on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Manning was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Eddie T. Mayfield, 32 years of age, address: Fifth St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 06/30/2017 @ 10:19 a.m.

Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Probation Fee on 03/07/2017
                 Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Fine on 06/20/2017

Eddie T. Mayfield was located and arrested at the Morgan City Police Department on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Mayfield was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

John K. Buck Jr., 30 years of age, address: Ricohoc Dr. Franklin, La., arrested on 06/30/2017 @ 9:30 a.m.

Charges: Resisting an Officer by Giving False Information

Patrol officers responded to the area of Victor II Blvd. in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived and according to reports came in contact which a subject eventually identified as John K. Buck. Reports indicate that during the investigation Buck provided officers with a false name. After he was identified Buck was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Skyla R. Crochet, 22 years of age, address: Palm St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/01/2017 @ 12:12 a.m.

Charges: Possession of Marijuana 2nd Offense
                 Illegal Use of CDS in the Presence of Juveniles
                 Violation of Uniform CDS Law (Drug-Free Zone)

Patrol officers observed a vehicle in the area Shaw Dr. negotiate an improper turn. A stop was initiated and Hector Perez was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, when officers made contact with Perez he had suspected marijuana all over his shirt. Troy M. Aucoin and Skyla Crochet were also identified as passengers in the vehicle along with 2 juveniles. Reports indicate that officers observed suspected marijuana on the shirt and pants of Aucoin and Crochet. Officer located more suspected marijuana in the vehicle. The area where this incident had taken place was within a Drug-Free Zone. Perez, Aucoin, and Crochet were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.

Jessee Blakeman, 23 years of age, address: Cypress St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/01/2017 @ 8:52 a.m.

                 Warrant: Fugitive from Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office

Jessee Blakemen was located and arrested in the area of Cypress St. on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police, 6th Ward Morgan City Court and Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office. The warrants from the Morgan City Police stems from an investigation conducted by patrol officers on June 30, 2017, when officers responded to the area of Cypress St. in regard to a disturbance. Officers arrived and the suspect, identified as Jessee Blakeman, had already left the area. According to reports, Blakeman had left behind suspected Gabapentin, Risperidone that he did not have a prescription for and drug paraphernalia. Warrants were prepared for Blakeman’s arrest. Blakeman was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Karen Strathman, 47 years of age, address: Shady Grove Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/01/2017 @ 7:29 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Fine on 05/30/2017

Karen Strathman was located and arrested in the area of LA 70 on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Strathman was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Kari Warden, 31 years of age, address: Hwy 182 Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/01/2017 @ 9:22 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. for Arraignment on 05/10/2017

Kari Warden was located and arrested in the area of LA 182 on active arrest warrants held by the 16th Judicial Court. Warden was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Darell Gash, 36 years of age, address: Hwy 182 Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/02/2017 @ 12:10 a.m.

Charges: Possession of Marijuana
                 Obstruction of Justice
                 Violation of Uniform CDS Law (Drug-Free Zone)

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of Railroad Ave. with improper lighting. A stop was initiated and Darell Gash was identified as a passenger in that vehicle. According to reports, Gash was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana. Reports indicate that evidence was uncovered that Gash had ingested some of the marijuana when stopped by patrol officers in an attempt to destroy the evidence. The area where this incident had taken place was within a Drug-Free Zone. Gash was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Devin Trouilliet, 21 years of age, address: Federal Ave. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/02/2017 @ 1:38 a.m.

Charges: Resisting an Officer
                 Battery on a Police Officer

Devin Trouillet was located and arrested in the area of LA 70 on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police. The warrants stem from an investigation conducted by patrol officers in January of 2017 when officers responded to the area of LA 70 in regards to a disturbance. According to reports, officers identified Devin Trouillet as the suspect in that disturbance. Reports indicate that Trouillet resisted and committed a battery on an officer. Warrants were prepared for Trouilliet’s arrest. Trouillet was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Larosia Washington, 62 years of age, address: Grace St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/02/2017 @ 3:47 p.m.

Charges: Possession of SCH II CDS (Cocaine)
                 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
                 Violation of Uniform CDS Law (Drug-Free Zone)

Patrol officers responded to the area of LA 182 in regards to a suspicious subject. Officer arrived and observed a subject fitting the description provided. When the subject had seen officers he began to act suspiciously and discarded something onto the ground. The subject was identified as Larosia Washington. The item that Washington allegedly discarded of was drug paraphernalia. Reports indicate that Washington was found to be in possession of cocaine. The area where this incident had taken place was within a Drug-Free Zone. Washington was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Edward A. Gil, 39 years of age, address: Kimberly Dr. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/02/2017 @ 10:27 p.m.

Patrol officers observed a vehicle negotiate an improper turn in the area of Railroad Ave. A stop was initiated and Edward A. Gil was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, Gil was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The area where the incident had taken place was within a Drug-Free Zone. Gil was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 38 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result, beginning on 06/28/2017:

Jeremy E. Gamble Jr., 19 years of age, address: Elaine St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 06/28/2017 @ 12:25 p.m.

Charges: Monetary Instrument Abuse
                  Improper Equipment

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of MLK Blvd with improper equipment which caused the license plate to be obscured. A stop was initiated and Jeremy E. Gamble Jr. was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, Gamble Jr. was found to be in possession of counterfeit U.S. Currency. Gamble Jr. was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.  

Imani J. Wynn, 26 years of age, address: Crosby St. Savannah, GA., arrested on 06/28/2017 @ 3:00 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. for Trial on 06/15/2017 (5 counts)

Imani J. Wynn was located and arrested at the Morgan City Police Department on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Wynn was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Trudy Domangue, 48 years of age, address: Front St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 06/28/2017 @ 4:39 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. for Trial on 06/13/2017

Trudy Domangue was located and arrested in the area of Front St. on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Domangue was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Michael F. Cross, 31 years of age, address: Belanger St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 06/28/2017 @ 5:01 p.m.

Charges: Contempt of Court

During court proceedings, Michael F. Cross began to cause a disturbance using profanity disrupting the proceedings. Cross was held in Contempt of Court at which time he was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Anthony James, 31 years of age, address: LA 83 Franklin, La., arrested on 06/28/2017 @ 11:57 p.m.

Charges: Possession of Marijuana W/I/T/D
                  Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
                  Illegal Use of CDS in the presence of Juveniles
                  Violation of Uniform CDS Law (Drug-Free Zone)

Patrol officers responded to a residence in the area of Terrebonne St. in regards to a complaint of a 911 hang up call. Officers arrived and according to reports, could smell marijuana emitting from the residence. Contact was made with parties in the residence and Anthony James as identified as a suspect. A search warrant was obtained by the Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Division. Morgan City Police Department K-9 Division was utilized and K-9 Lady alerted to the presence of illegal narcotics. A search of the area produced a large amount of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Reports indicate, at the time of the incident there were two small children in the residence. James allegedly admitted to the suspected marijuana belonging to him. Investigators uncovered evidence that the suspected marijuana was destined to be sold. The area where the incident took place was within a Drug-Free Zone. James was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

MCPD Arrest Report 06/27/2017

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 44 calls for service. The following person was arrested as a result beginning on 06/26/2017:

Alexis J. Melendez-Davilia, 29 years of age, address: Robin St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 06/26/2017 @ 1:59 p.m.

Charges: Disturbing the Peace

Patrol officers responded to the area of Robin St. in regards to a disturbance. According to reports, officers arrived and Alexis .J Melendez-Davilia began to cause a disturbance in the presence of the officers. Melendez-Davilia was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

MCPD Arrest Report 06/30/2017

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 40 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 06/29/2017:



Aubaray A. White, 26 years of age, Address- Belanger St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/29/2017 @ 12:00 am.

Charge:  Warrant- Failure to Pay Fine

   Aubaray White was transported from the Iberia Parish Jail to the Morgan City Police Department for active warrants he held for the 6th Ward City Court. White was booked and incarcerated.


Blake M. Vidos, 26 years of age, Address- Karen Court Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/29/2017 @ 1:00 pm.

Charge:  Warrant- Simple Assault

   Blake Vidos was placed under arrest at the Morgan City Police Department for an active warrant held for the department. The warrant stems from an investigation in May of 2017, in which it is alleged that Vidos used racial slurs and made threats to do bodily harm to the victim.  Vidos was booked and incarcerated.


Christopher L. Martin, 30 years of age, Address- Second St. Berwick, La. was arrested on 06/29/2017 @ 2:56 pm.

Charge:  Warrant- Failure to Appear for Drug Court (St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office)


   Christopher Martin was located by an officer in the area of LA 70 and Fig St. A warrant check was done Martin and it was determined that he held an active warrant for the Sixteenth Judicial District Court. Martin was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Luke L. Romero, 59 years of age, Address- Laurel St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/29/2017 @ 4:24 pm.

Charge:  Possession of Stolen Things under $500.00

                Criminal Trespass

                Theft under $750.00

    Officers responded to a residence on Laurel St. in regards to a disturbance. While officers were there, they noticed a boat trailer that had been reported stolen. Officers made contact with Luke Romero and asked about the boat trailer. According to reports, Romero admitted to taking the boat trailer from the yard of another residence. Romero was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.


Elnora R. Vallery, 62 years of age, Address-Egle St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/29/2017 @ 6:07 pm.

Charge: Simply Battery

   Officers responded to a residence on Laurel St. in regards to a battery that had been committed on an individual.  According to reports, the victim stated that she and Elnora Vallery had gotten into a verbal altercation which later turned physical when Vallery struck her in the facial area. Officers did observe marks on the victim’s face. Officers located Vallery on Egle St. and reports indicate that she admitted to striking the victim. Vallery was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Ricky D. Pillaro, 61 years of age, address: LA 182 Morgan City, La., arrested on 06/27/2017 @ 8:15 a.m.

                  Warrant: F.T.A. for Arraignment on 06/13/2017 (16th Judicial Court)

Ricky D. Pillaro was located and arrested in the area of Railroad Ave. on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City and 16th Judicial Courts. Pillaro was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Yosheka B. Hayes, 30 years of age, address: Duke St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 06/27/2017 @ 12:27 p.m.

Charges: Criminal Mischief

Yosheka B. Hayes was located and arrested in the area of Sixth St. on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police. The warrant stems from an investigation conducted by patrol officers in December of 2016 in regards to a vehicle crash. According to reports during the course of the investigation, officers uncovered evidence that Hayes had falsely reported the crash.  A warrant was prepared for Hayes’ arrest. Hayes was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Tyeisha Barnes, 23 years of age, address: Terrebonne St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 06/27/2017 @ 2:59 p.m.

Charges: Simple Battery

Patrol officers responded to the area of Terrebonne St. in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived and according to reports observed Tyeisha Barnes involved in a fistic encounter with the victim. Barnes was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Tanisha L. Wilkerson, 41 years of age, address: Grace St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 06/27/2017 @ 3:00 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: Contempt of Court

Tanisha L. Wilkerson was located and arrested at the Morgan City Court on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Wilkerson was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Harrison Short, 51 years of age, address: Mallard St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 06/27/2017 @ 3:20 p.m.

Harrison Short was located and arrested at the Morgan City Court on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Harrison was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Ryan A. Fitch, 40 years of age, address: Lake Mechant Ct. Houma, La., arrested on 06/27/2017 @ 4:50 p.m.

Charges: Hit and Run Driving

Patrol officers had placed police marked barricades on MLK Blvd. due to the high water caused by the rain. According to reports, Ryan A. Fitch was traveling down MLK Blvd. and struck one of those barricades and caused damage.  A patrol officer was in the area and was able to initiate a stop on the vehicle Fitch was operating. Fitch was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 72-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 101 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 06/23/2017:

Jonathon W. Glosch, 28 years of age, address: Estrella Cr. Golden Valley, AZ., arrested on 06/23/2017 @ 11:29 a.m.

Charges: Contributing to the Delinquency of a Juvenile

Jonathon W. Glosch was located and arrested at the Lafayette Parish Detention Center on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police. The warrant stems from an investigation conducted by detectives in December of 2015 in regards to a missing juvenile. According to reports, the juvenile was located with Glosch in Lafayette Parish in a stolen vehicle and returned to her family. Glosch was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Kyler A. Ross, 30 years of age, address: Broken Arrow Rd. New Iberia, La., arrested on 06/23/2017 @ 3:53 p.m.

Danny Aucoin, 43 years of age, address: Cypress St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 06/23/2017 @ 4:05 p.m.

Charges: Possession of SCH I CDS (Synthetic Marijuana)

                  Improper Lane Usage

Patrol officers observed a vehicle traveling in the area of Sixth St. swerving from lane to lane crossing the center line. A stop was initiated and Danny Aucoin was identified as the operator of the vehicle. Kyler A. Ross was identified as a passenger in the vehicle. According to reports, Aucoin’s Louisiana Driver’s License was under suspension that Kyler Ross held active arrest warrants through the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Reports indicate that Aucoin and Ross were found to be in possession of suspected Synthetic Marijuana. Aucoin and Ross were both arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.

Jarret Simpson, 27 years of age, address: 11th St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 06/23/2017 @ 7:01 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: Probation Violation (2 counts)

Jarret Simpson was located and arrested in the area of 11th St. on active arrest warrants held by the Dallas County District Court in Texas. Simpson was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Gabrielle M. Landry, 21 years of age, address: Mam and Pap Dr. Pierre Part, La., arrested on 06/23/2017 @ 9:26 p.m.

Charges: Driving While Intoxicated 1st Offense
                  Possession of Marijuana 2nd Offense
                  Open Alcoholic Beverage in a Motor Vehicle

Patrol officers responded to the area of LA 70 in regards to a vehicle being operated in a reckless manner. A description was obtained and a vehicle fitting that description was located turning into the Lake End Park. A stop was initiated and Gabrielle M. Landry was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, Landry was found to be in an intoxicated state. Standardized Field Sobriety was conducted in which Landry performed poorly. Reports indicate that Landry was also found to be in possession of suspected Marijuana and an open container of an alcoholic beverage in the motor vehicle. Landry was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail for Chemical Test. Once at the Morgan City Jail Landry submitted to Chemical Test which registered .193g% blood alcohol content. Landry was booked and incarcerated.

Hebert J. Fontenot, 44 years of age, address: Country Village Dr. Morgan City, La., arrested on 06/23/2017 @ 11:20 a.m.

Charges: Warrant: Domestic Abuse Battery

Herbert J. Fontenot was located and arrested in the area of Franklin St. on active arrest warrants held by the Berwick Police Department. Fontenot was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Jim Businelle, 57 years of age, address: Carol Rd. Morgan City, La., arrested on 06/24/2017 @ 1:52 a.m.

Charges: Simple Battery

Patrol officers responded to the area of LA 182 in regards to a disturbance. According to reports, Jim Businelle was identified and allegedly struck the victim in the disturbance. Businelle was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Michael W. Hickman, 31 years of age, address: Arenz St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 06/24/2017 @ 11:52 a.m.

Charges: Possession of SCH II CDS (Methamphetamine)
                  Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
                  Obstruction of Justice

A Patrol Officer entered a parking lot of a business in the area of LA 182. The patrol officer pulled next to a vehicle parked in the parking lot and observed a white male subject attempting to use illegal narcotics. The officer then made contact with the subject who was identified as Michael W. Hickman. According to reports, when Hickman exited his vehicle he attempted to destroy some of the illegal narcotics. Hickman was found to be in possession of suspected Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.  Reports indicated that Hickman admitted that he was about to use the Methamphetamine prior to seeing the officer parked next to him. Hickman was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Michael A. Nieman, 32 years of age, address: Keith St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 06/24/2017 @ 12:19 p.m.

Michael A. Nieman was located and arrested at the Morgan City Police Department on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police. The warrants stem from an investigation conducted by patrol officers in May of 2017 where a vehicle was observed negotiating an improper turn in the area of LA 70. A stop was initiated and Michael A. Nieman was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, Nieman’s Louisiana Driver’s License was found to be under suspension. Reports indicate that officers also located suspected Marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and an open container in the vehicle. The investigation continued and warrants were prepared for Nieman’s arrest. Nieman was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Tysha M. Aucoin, 39 years of age, address: Tut St. Pierre Part, La., arrested on 06/24/2017 @ 4:54 p.m.

                  Improper Lane Usage

Patrol officers observed a vehicle swerving within its lane crossing the center line in the area of LA 70. A stop was initiated and Tysha M. Aucoin  was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, Aucoin’s Louisiana Driver’s License was found to be under suspension. Aucoin was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Patrol officers responded to the area of LA 182 in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived and according to reports, Adapto Bibian and Miguel A. Perez were observed being involved in a fistic encounter. Bibian and Perez were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.

Robert E. Ingram Jr., 30 years of age, address: 7th Ave. Brighton, AL., arrested on 06/25/2017 @ 1: 41 p.m.

Charges: Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated

Patrol officers responded to a business in the area of LA 182 in regards to a suspicious subject. According to reports, officers arrived and Robert E. Ingram Jr. was identified. Ingram Jr. was found to be in an intoxicated state. Ingram Jr. was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Dustin J. Sampay, 23 years of age, address: Fairland Dr. Gray, La., arrested on 06/25/2017 @ 10:01 p.m.

Charges: Possession of Marijuana
                  Obstruction of Justice
                  Improper Lighting

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of Levee Rd. with improper lighting. A stop was initiated and Dustin J. Sampay was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, officers detected an odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. Reports indicate that Sampay allegedly destroyed evidence when he was stopped by officers. Sampay was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana. Sampey was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Alec G. Race Jr., 46 years of age, address: Chennault St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 06/26/2017 @ 5:43 a.m.

Charges: Possession of SCH II CDS (Methamphetamine)
                  Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
                  Violation of Uniform CDS Law (Drug-Free Zone)

Patrol officers observed a suspicious vehicle parked behind a local business in the area of Railroad Ave. Officers made contact with the subject in the vehicle who was identified as Alec G. Race Jr. According to reports, during the investigation Race was found to be in possession of suspected Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. The area where this incident had taken place was within a Drug-Free Zone. Race Jr. was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
