Eddie R Sanchez, 24 years of age, Address: Elaine Street, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/22/2015 @ 3:28 P.M.


Charges:  Warrants - for the 16th Judicial Dist. Court:
                  Failure to Appear for Disturbing the Peace by Fighting
                  Simple Assault 

     An officer responded to an area on Front Street near Brashear Ave. in regard to a subject throwing rocks. The officer arrived and located Eddie R Sanchez. A warrants check was conducted which indicated that the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office held active arrest warrants for Sanchez. Sanchez was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Dept. where he was booked and incarcerated.

Ted Smith, 47 years of age, Address: Dawn Drive, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/22/2015 @ 7:38 P.M. 


Charge:  Warrant - for the 6th Ward City Court:
                Violation of a Protective Order

     An officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of Hwy 70 for a traffic infraction. During the course of the stop the officer came into contact with Ted Smith. A warrants check was conducted and it was learned that the Morgan City Police Dept. held and active arrest warrant for Smith. Smith was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Dept. where he was booked and incarcerated.

Kristin A Sanders, 24 years of age, Address: Bush Street, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/22/2015 @ 9:37 P.M.

Vincent A Thomas, 22 years of age, Address: Mount Street, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/22/2015  @ 9:37 P.M. 


Charges:  Warrants - for the 6th Ward City Court:
                  Failure to Appear for Possession of Synthetic Marijuana
                  Probation Violation

     An officer was patrolling the area of Railroad Ave. near Mount Street when a vehicle was observed with improper lighting. A traffic stop was conducted when the driver was identified as Kristin A Sanders and passenger as Vincent A Thomas. Sanders was asked to produce a valid drivers license which she could not. A drivers license and warrants check was conducted which according to reports revealed that Sanders had a suspended drivers license and the Morgan City Police Dept. held active arrest warrants for Thomas. Both Sanders and Thomas were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Dept. where they were booked and incarcerate.

Roberto Cruz, 32 years of age, Address: Fourth Street, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/20/2015 @ 9:15 A.M.


Charge:  Driving with a Suspended Drivers License

     An officer was patrolling the area of Sixth Street near Bowman Street when a vehicle was observed with improper lighting. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was identified as Roberto Cruz. Cruz was asked to produce a valid drivers license but could not. A drivers license check was conducted and according to reports Cruz had a suspended drivers license. Cruz was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Dept. where he was booked and incarcerated.

Faibel E Lopez Garcia, 36 years of age, Address: Spruce Street, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/20/2015 @ 3:51 P.M.


Charge: Warrant- Simple Battery (two counts)
                             (Morgan City Police Dept.)

     An officer went to an address on Spruce Street to locate Faibel E Lopez Garcia in regards to an active warrant held by the Morgan City Police Dept. for his arrest. The warrant was obtained as a result of an investigation conducted by the Morgan City Police Dept. Detectives Division stemming from an incident which occurred in June 2015. Lopez Garcia was located at the residence, placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Dept. where he was booked and incarcerated.

Teliegia M Busby, 50 years of age, Address: Fifth Street, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/20/2015 @ 6:46 P.M.


Charges:  Appearing in Public in an Intoxicated Condition
                  Discharging of Fireworks inside City Limits

     An officer responded to the area of Fourth Street near Freret Street in regards to possible shots being fired. Upon the officers arrival he located Teliegia M Busby. According to reports witnesses stated that Busby was observed discharging fireworks in the area. During the course of the investigation it was believed that Busby had been drinking and appeared to be intoxicated. Busby was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Dept. where she was booked and incarcerated.

Carl K Rosette, 33 years of age, Address: Baton Rouge, La. was arrsted on 10/21/2015 @ 5:00 A.M.


Charge:  Driving with a Suspended Drivers License

     An officer was patrolling the area of Hwy 182 near Roderick Street when a vehicle was observed making an unsafe U-Turn in the roadway. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was identified as Carl K Rosette.  Rosette was asked to produce a valide drivers license but could not do so. A driver license check was conducted and according to reports Rosette had a suspended drivers license. Rosette was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Dept. where he was booked and incarcerated.

Meghann R. Scarbrough, 27 years of age, Address: Hwy 668, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/16/2015 @ 2:30 P.M. 


Charges:  Driving with a Suspended Drivers License
                   No Proof of Vehicle Insurance

     An officer responded to Hwy 90 near the Martin Luther King Exit in regards to a traffic crash. The driver of one of the vehicles involved was identified as Meghan Scarbrough.  A drivers license check was conducted and it was learned that Scarbrough's drivers license was suspended and that she did not have proof of vehicle insurance.  Scarbrough was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and incarerated.

Jason L. Ross, 27 years of age, Address: Cypress Street, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/16/2015 @ 10:02 P.M.



 Charges: Driving with a Suspended Drivers License
                   Improper Lighting

     An officer was patrolling the area of Duke Street near Seventh Street when a vehicle was observed with improper lighting. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was identified as Jason L. Ross. Ross could not produce a valide drivers license and was found to be operating a vehicle with a suspended license. . Ross was placed under arres and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Charles A. Evans, 25 years of age, Address: Fifth Street, Berwick, La. was arrested on 10/16/2015 @ 11:15 P.M.


Charges:  Improper Lane Usage
                  Driving While Intoxicated

     An officer was patrolling the area of Hwy 70 near 8th Street when a vehicle was observed swerving in the lane of travel and off of the roadway. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was identified as Charles A. Evans. Evans was asked to produce a valid drivers license. During the course of the investigation according to reports the officer believed that Evans had been drinking and was intoxicated. Evans was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for further testing at which time Evans submitted to the Intoxilyzer 5000 yielding a blood aclohol  concentration of .187 grams percent. Evans was placed under arrest and booked into the Morgan City Police Department Jail.

Andres Arias, 24 years of age, Address: Terrebone Street, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/17/2015 @ 1:43 A.M.


Charge:  Domestic Abuse Battery in the Presence of a Juvenile

     Officers responded to an address on Terrebone Street in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived and located Andres Arias along with a female who were both believed to have been involved in a disturbance. According to reports there was a small child inside the residence at the time of the disturbance. It was reported to officers that Arias had pushed the female while she was holding the child. Evidence of the disturbance was observed by the officers. Arias was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarerated.

Charles L. Wolfe, 48 years of age, Address: Hwy 182, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/17/2015 @ 3:22 A.M.


Charges:  Possession of Marijuana
                  Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

    Officers responded to an address on Hwy 182 in regards to a complaint of drug activity at the residence. Officers arrived and made contact with Charles L. Wolfe. The officers spoke with Wolfe about the complaint at which time Wolfe gave officers consent to search the residence.  A search was conducted and according to reports suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia was located inside of the residence. Wolfe was then placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Daniel O. Johnson, 23 years of age, Address: Grove Street, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/17/2015 @ 5:17 A.M.


Charges:  Criminal Trespassing 
                  Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated
                  Resisting An Officer

    An officer responded to an address on Grove Street in regards to a subject attempting to enter the rear yard of aresidence through a gate.  The officer arrived when the officer observed the subject attempting to climb over a fence. The subject was ordered to the ground but did not comply with the officers commands. The subject who was later identified as Daniel O. Johnson was taken to the ground. The officer then attempted to place Johnson into handcuffs but Johnson continued to resist the officer.  After a short struggle the officer was able to place Johnson into handcuffs.  According to reports it was believed that Johson had been drinking and appeared to be intoxicated. Johnson was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Allen J. Jeanise, 57 years of age, Address: Hwy 182 Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/17/2015 @ 11:17 P.M. 


Charge:  Criminal Mischief

     An officer was patrolling the area of Front Street when the officer observed a subject on the unprotected side of the sea wall in a construction area throwing items. The officer made contact with Allen Jeanise at which time Jeanise was advised that he could not be in the construction area and he would have to leave. Accoding to reports Jeanise refused to leave at which time he was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Johnathon M. Priestly, 22 years of age, Address: Fourth Street, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/18/2015 @ 12:26 A.M.

                  Speeding 49mph in a 35 mph zone

                  Warrant- Failure to Appear for No Seatbelt (Patterson Police Dept. )

Eugnene J. LeBlanc, 20 years of age, Address: Elaine Street, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/18/2015 @ 12:26 A.M. 


Charges:  Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
                  Possession of Marijuana

     An officer was patrolling the area of Hwy 182 near 11th Sttreet when a vehicle was observed  traveling higher than the 35 mph speed limit. The officer clocked the vehicle at 49 mph and also observed the vehicle traveling in and out of the lane of travel. A traffic stop was conducted when the driver of the vehicle was identified as Johnathon M. Priestly and passenger as Eugnene J. LeBlanc.   Priestly was asked to produce a valid drivers license but failed to do so.  A drivers license check was conducted and it was learned that Prieslty's drivers license was under suspension. Both Priestly and LeBlanc appear to be nervous. Consent was given to search the vehicle and according to reports the officer located suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Both Prieslty and LeBlanc admitted to possessing the drig paraphernalia. A warrants check was conducted and it was learned that the Patterson Police Dept. held an arrest warrant on Priestly. Both Priestly and LeBlanc were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Dept. where they were booked and incarcerated.

Maria A. Cubero-Bonilla, 35 years of age, Address: Shannon Street, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/18/2015 @ 2:43 A.M.

                  Warrants- Telephone Harassment (6th Ward Morgan City Court)
                                   Simple Asault (6th Ward Morgan City Court)

     An officer was patrolling the area of Diane Drive when a vehicle was observed with improper lighting. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was identified as Maria A Cubero-Bonilla. Cubo-Bonilla was asked to produce a valid drivers license. A warrants check was conducted and according to reports the the Morgan City Police Dept. held warrants for Cubero-Bonilla's arrest. Cubero-Bonilla was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Dept. where she was booked and incarcerated.

Kesler Y. Suazo, 23 years of age, Address: Louisa Street, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/18/2015 @ 2:47 A.M. 


Charges:  Improper Lane Usage
                  Possession of an Open Alocoholic Container
                  No Drivers License
                  Driving While Intoxicated

     An officer was patrolling the area of Hwy 182 near 11th St. when a vehicle was observed swerving out of the lane of travel. A vehicle stop was conducted and the driver was identified as Kesler Y. Suazo. Suazo was asked to prduce a valid drivers license but could not. A drivers license check was conducted and accrording to reports Suazo did not have a drivers license. During the course of the investigation an open container of beer was observed inside of the vehicle. It was believed Kelser had been drinking and appeared to be intoxicated. Suazo was placed under arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Dept. for further testing. Suazo submitted to the Intoxilyzer 5000 which yielded a blood alcohol conentration of .157 grams percent. Suazo was then booked into the Morgan City Police Dept. Jail and incarcerated.

Leanna M. Steele, 28 years of age, Address: Friendship Lane, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/18/2015 @ 4:34 A.M.

                  Warrants for the 16th Judicial Dist. Court:
                  Failure to Comply with Drug Court for Simple Battery
                  Failure to Comply with Drug Court for Theft of Goods

     Officers responded to an address on Railroad Ave. in regards to a fight. Officers arrived and later located Leanna M. Steele and Tanika M Short who were two of the parties belived to be involved in the fight. Officers spoke with several witnesses and according to reports it was determined that Short and Steele had been fighting. A warrants check was conducted and it was learned that the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office held warrants for Steele's arrest. Both Short and Steele were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Dept. where they were booked and incarcerated.

Felix D. Ocliar, 19 years of age, Address: St. Augustine, Fl. was arrested on 10/18/2015 @ 11:12 P.M.


Charges:  Possession of Marijuana
                  Improper Lighting

     An officer was patrolling the area of Hwy 182 near Justa St. when a vehicle was observed with improper lighting. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was identified as Felix D. Oclair. Oclair was asked to produce a valid drivers license. According to reports Ocliar returned to the vehicle to retrieve the registration for the vehicle  when the officer observed in plain view what appeared to be marijuana. Oclair was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Dept. where he was booked and incarcerated.

     Ollie R Carlisle was transported to the Morgan City Police Department by the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Officer in regard to warrants for his arrest held by Morgan City Police. Carlisle was booked into the Morgan City Police Dept. Jail and incarcerated.

Shanell N Sanford, 21 years of age, Address: Second Street, Berwick, La. was arrested on 10/21/2015 @ 7:41 P.M.


Charges: Warrants held by the Morgan City Police Dept.
                Aggravated Criminal Damage to Propety
                Attempted Second Degree Murder

     Shanell N Sanford was placed under arrest at the Morgan City Police Department in regard to warrants for her arrest held by Morgan City Police. The warrants stemmed from an investigation conducted by the Morgan City Police Dept. of an incident which occured on 10/19/2015. Officers responded to an address on Hwy 182 in regards to a vehicle crash and disturbance. A vehicle was located which appeared to have struck a utility pole and the driver was identified as Shanell N Sanford. According to reports, during the course of the investigation Sanford was involved in an argument with an individual.  During the argument, Sanford supposedly got into a vehicle  and attempted to strike the individual with the vehicle crashing into a utility pole. Sanford was booked on the warrants and incarcerated.

Michael M Gonzales, 27 years of age, Address: Glennwood Street, Morgan City, La. was arrersted on 10/21/2015 @ 8:53 P.M.


Charges:  Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated
                  Resisting an Officer
                  Battery on a Police Officer

     Officers responded to an address on Ditch Ave. in regard to a distubance. Contact was made with the owner of  the residence who stated that Michael M Gonzales was intoxicated, causing a disturbance and wanted him removed from the residence. Officers then made contact with Gonzales who according to reports was believed to have been drinking and appeared to be intoxicated. Gonzales supposedly began using prophane language and was shouting at officers. Gonzales was placed under arrest and began to fight with officers when attempting to place him into handcuffs. Reports indicated that officers were struggling with Gonzaels when Gonzales bit one of the officers. After a short struggle Gonzales was detained and transported to the Morgan City Police Dept. where he was booked and incarcerated.

Darell Gash, 34 years of age, Address: Orange Street, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/21/2015  @ 9:39 P.M.


Charges:  Possession of Synthetic Marijuana
                  Appearing in Public Intoxicated

     Officers reponded to Fourth Street in regard to a complaint of a subject staggering in the area. Officers located Darell Gash who according to reports appeared to be intoxicated. Gash was placed under arrest and a search was conducted when officers located suspected synthetic marijuana on his person. Gash was transported to the Morgan City Police Dept. where he was booked and incarcerated.

Tieyon Martinez, 29 years of age, Address: 11th Street, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/22/2015 @ 3:38 A.M.


Charge:  Driving with a Suspended Drivers License

     Officers responded to an address on General Patton Street in regard to a distubance. Officers arrived and were told that Tieyon Martinez was involved in a disturbance but had left the residence before officers arrived. A description of Martinez's vehicle was provided when an officer located the vehicle on Brashear Ave. near Fourth Street. A traffic stop was conducted and Martinez was asked to produce a valid drivers license but could not do so. A drivers license check revealed that Martinez's drivers license was suspended according to reports. Martinez was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Dept. where he was booked and incarcerated.

James W Minton, 38 years of age, Address: Glennwood Street, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/18/2015 @ 10:54 P.M.


Charge:  Driving While Intoxicated


     An officer reponded to the intersection of Hwy 182 and Martin Luther King Blvd. in regard to a stalled vehicle. The officer located the vehicle and came into contact with James W Minton who according to reports admitted to being the driver of the vehicle.  During the course of the investigation it was believed that Minton had been drinking and appeared to be intoxicated. Minton was transported to the Morgan City Police Dept. for further testing. Minton submitted to the Intoxilyzer 5000 yielding a blood alcohol concentration of .256 grams percent. Minton was placed under arrest, booked and incarcerated.

Elton J Landry, 53 years of age, Address: Federal Ave., Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/19/2015 @ 2:28 A.M. 


Charges: Improper Lane Usage
                Driving While Intoxicated

     An officer was patroling the area of 7th Street when a vehicle was observed swerving out of the lane of travel nearly striking a garage can. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was identified as Elton J Landry.  According to reports, during the course of the investigation it was believed that Landry had been drinking and appeared to be intoxicated. Landry was transported to the Morgan City Police Dept. for further testing. Landy submitted to the Intoxilyzer 5000 yielding a blood alcohol concentration of .177 grams percent. Landry was placed under arrest, booked and incarcerated.

Kesajan D West, 20 years of age, Address: Rayville, La. was arrested on 10/19/2015 @ 7:49 A.M. 


Charge:  Warrant- Hate Crimes (16th Judicial Dist. Court)

     An officer went to an address on Garber Street to locate Kesajan D West in regard to a warrant for his arrest held by the Morgan City Police Department. The warrant was obtained from an investigation of an incident which occurred on 10/08/2015 which West was accused of committing a battery. The officer made contact with West at the residence at which time West was placed under arrest, transported to the Morgan City Police Dept. where he was booked and incarcerated.

Raven T Mayon, 19 years of age, Address: Bayou Black Drive, Gibson, La. was arrested on 10/19/2015 @ 7:55 A.M.


Charge:  Warrant- Second Degree Robbery


     Raven T Mayon came into the Morgan City Police Dept. to turn himself in on a warrant held for his arrest.  The warrant was obtained from an investigation conducted by the Morgan City Police Dept. Detectives Division in regard to the complaint of a robbery near Hwy 182 on 08/10/2015. Mayon was arrested, booked and incarcerated.

Randall M Lejeune, 53 years of age, Address: Southeast Blvd. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/19/2015 @ 10:15 A.M. 


Charge: Warrant- Theft by Shoplifting (6th Ward Morgan City Court)

     Randall M Lejeune was transported to the Morgan City Police Department by the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office in regard to a warrant held for Lejeune's arrest. Lejeune was booked into the Morgan City Police Dept. Jail and incarcerated.

     An officer was patroling the area of Hwy 182 and Brashear Ave. when he observed a vehicle travling at a rate of speed higher than the posted speed limit.  The officer was behind the vehicle and the vehicle was paced near the area of Brashear Ave. and Fourth St. at 70mph in a 30mph speed zone. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was identified as Christopher J. Abshire. Abshire was asked to produce a valid drivers license. According to reports, during the course of the investigation it was learned that the registration and motor vehicle inspection sticker on the vehicle Abshire was driving were expired. Abshire was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Kandace D. Francis, 24 years of age, Address: Egle Street, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/15/2015 @ 9:25 P.M.

                 Improper Turning

     An officer was patroling the area of Sixth Street near Onstead Street. While doiing so the officer observed a vehicle make an improper turn onto Sixth Street from Onstead Street. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was identified as Kandace D. Francis. Francis was asked to produce a valid drivers license but could not do so. According to reports a drivers license check was conducted and it was learned that Francis's drivers license was suspended. During the course of the investigation it was believed that Francis had been drinking and appeared to be intoxicated. Francis was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for further testing. Francis submitted to the Intoxilyzer 5000 test with a blood alcohol concentration result of .084 grams percent. Francis was booked into the Morgan City Police Department Jail and incarcerated.

A warrants check was conducted and the warrants for Mauney were confirmed. Mauney was placed under arrest, booked on the warrants and incarcerated in the Morgan City Police Department Jail.
