     Roger Francis was located near the intersection of Sevent St. and Brashear Ave. and placed under arrest on outstanding warrants for the City of Morgan City Sixth Ward Court.  He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated. He was later released on a cash bond. 





Allen P. Hollier, 39 years of age, Address-Roderick St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/01/2015 @ 12:01am

Charge: Failure to Drive Right Side of Roadway; No Insurance; Operating a Vehicle with a Suspended Drivers License; Possession of Schedule I CDS-MDMA (Ecstacy)



    A patrolling officer observed a vehicle being driven in an erratic manner on Highway 182 near Florence St. and stopped the vehicle to investigate.  The driver, Allen Hollier was discovered to be operating a vehicle with a suspended drivers license nor motor vehicle insurance.  He was arrested.  Upon his arrest, officers located a substance which was identified as MDMA-Ecstacy, a Schedule I CDS.  He was additionally charged.  He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Charge: Possession of Schedule I CDS-Marijuana


     An officer was dispatched to the area of Highway 90 in regards to a vehicle being driven in a reckless manner.  A patrolling officer observed a speeding vehicle which pulled along side of the unit and began to travel at 90 mph when it was stopped by the officer.  The driver, Alejandro Guiterrez advised the officer that he thought the unit was a friend and attempted to race.  Alejandro Guiterrez was discovered not to possess a valid drivers license.  Officers also located suspected marijuana inside the subjects vehicle after the officer detected a strong smell of marijuana eminating from the vehicle.  The vehicle's passenger, Carlos Joanez along with the driver, Guiterrez were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where they were booked and incarcerated.  Carlos Joanez was later released on a cash bond.

     A patrolling officer observed a wanted subject, Matthew Miller at an Adams St. residence and detained the subject.  The officer detected a strong odor of marijuana at the residence and began an investigation.  During the investigation, suspected marijuana along with items of drug paraphernalia were located and identified by Miller as belonging to him.  He was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Charge: Possession of Schedule I CDS-Marijuana 2nd Offense; Improper LIghting; Possession of Alcoholic Beverage in a Motor Vehicle (Open Contaner); Operating a Vehicle with a Suspended Drivers License



     A patrolling officer observed a vehicle with improper lighting in the area of Highway 182 and Eleventh St. and stopped the vehicle to speak with the driver.  Leo Harris, the driver of the vehicle was identified and discovered to be operating a vehicle with a suspended drivers license. Harris, who admitted to officers that he was aware of the suspension was also found to possess an open container of alcoholic beverage inside his vehicle as well as suspected marijuana which was located on his person.  He was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated. 





Charles E. Stevens, 23 years of age, Address-Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/01/2015 @ 9:30pm

     An officer conducting a traffic investigation came into contact with a passenger in a vehicle near the intersection of Duke St. and Federal Ave.  The passenger, Charles Stevens was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana along with items of drug paraphernalia.  Stevens was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.  He was later released after posting a cash bond.

     Randall Lejeune was located near the intersection of Highway 182 and Federal Ave. and placed under arrest on outstanding warrants fo the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Department.  He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

     A patrolling officer observed a vehicle with improper lighting traveling on Highway 182 near Federal Ave. and stopped the vehicle to speak with the driver.  Jesus Tenorio was found to be operating a vehicle with no valid drives license.  He was also found to possess open containers of alcoholic beverage in his motor vehicle.  He was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked adn incarcerated.

     An officer observed a vehicle with improper lighting in the area of Federal Ave. and Highway 182 and stopped the vehicle to speak with the driver.  The driver, Juan Gonzalez was found to be operating a vehicle with no drivers license.  Gonzalez, who had been convicted of the same offense previously was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department.  He was booked and incarcerated.

     A patrollling officer observed a speeding vehicle traveling on Highway 182 and clocked the vehicle at 62mph in a 35mph zone.  The vehicle was observed failing to stop at a red light displayed at Highway 182 and Martin Luther King Blvd.  The vehicle was stopped and the driver, Callum Brown identified.  Brown could not produce a valid drivers license and was subsequently placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Brennan N. Skinner, 20 years of age, Address-Grace St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/28/2015 @ 11:13am

Charge: Possession of Schedule I CDS-Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute; Possession of Schedule II CDS-Cocaine with the Intent to Distribute; Simple Criminal Damage to Property; Transactions Involving Proceeds from Illegal Drug Activity; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia



     Officers responded to a complaint of a domestic disturbance at a hotel located on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.  Responding officers were provided a description of the male and female involved and were advised that the male subject was fleeing the scene.  Officers arrived and located a female, Jakeysha Broussard who had physical evidence of involvment in a physical altercation.  The female, Broussard was located in the parking lot attempting to leave the area in a vehicle.  During the encounter, officers observed Broussard attempt to conceal an object inside the vehicle.  Officers recovered the item and identified it as marijuana, a controlled dangerous substance.  Officers also located additional suspected marijuana along with a bottle containing several pieces of suspected crack cocaine.  As officers investigated the scene, a male subject fitting the description of the male subject involved was located in the vicinity near Catherine St. The male subject was identified as Brennan Skinner and was positively identified as the suspect.  Skinner confirmed that the two had been involved in an altercation which reportedly led to damages to several objects in the room such as the smoke detector.  Skinner was escorted to the scene and identified the vehicle as his rental vehicle.  During a complete search fo the vehicle and the subsequent investigation, officers located a digital scale along with other items of paraphernalia used for the distribution of controlled sububstances.  Skinner was also found to be in possession of U.S. Currency which was seized and beleived to be derived from the sale of illegal narcotics.  Both Brennan Skinner and Jakeysha Broussard were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where they were booked and incarcerated. Skinner remains incarcerated with a bond of $79,000.00.  Broussard has no bond yet set.  




Nakeisa D. Walker, 35 years of age, Address-Domino St. Patterson, La. was arrested on 01/28/2015 @ 3:01pm

Charge: Disturbing the Peace by Alarming the Public


     Officers were dispatched to the parking lot of Teche Regional in regards to a disturbance in the parking lot.  The caller advised that a female was seen waving a gun in the parking lot of the hospital.  The hospital was placed on a temporary lock down status while officers proceeded to the scene.  Officers located the female fitting the description in the parking lot and identified her as Nakeisa Walker.  During the investigation, it was reported that Walker had become involved in an arguement with an known male subject in the parking lot at which time she allegedly produced a handgun which alarmed the public in the area.  Officers recovered a 9mm semi-auto handgun and secured it into evidence.  Nakeisa Walker was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and later released after posting a cash bond.  There were no injuries as a result of the complaint.

     Detectives with the Morgan City Police Department observed a vehicle with improper lighting and stopped the vehicle near Federal Ave. and Terrebone St. to speak with the driver.  During the stop, investigators recovered Suboxone and Xanax, both controlled substances on two of the occupants.  Dustin Falgout was charged with Possession of Xanax and Karen Dumont was charged with Possesson of Suboxone after both were found in possession of the substances. They were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where they were booked and incarcerated.

     A patrolling officer observed a motorcycle traveling on Highway 182 with an operator with no helmet.  The officer detained the vehicle to speak with the driver, Alain Arcia-Diaz and discovered that he was operating a vehicle with a suspended drivers license.  The driver was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated. 



Devon E. Marsh, 22 years of age, Address-Ciro St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/24/2015 @ 2:00pm

Charge: Operating a Vehicle with a Suspended Drivers License; Warrant: Hit & Run; Warrant: Driving  Under Suspension

     A patrolling officer observed a vehicle make an improper turn near the intersection of Aycock St. and Railroad Ave. and stopped the vehicle to investigate.  The driver, Devon Marsh could not produce a valid drivers license and was discovered to be operating a motor vehicle with a suspended drivers license.  Marsh was also found to be wanted on outstanding warrants for failing to appear in the Sixth Ward City Court of Morgan City on other charges.  He was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Jenna M. Gilmore, 29 years of age, Address-Bayou Vista, La. was arrested on 01/24/2015 @ 4:28pm

Charge: Operating a Vehicle while Intoxicated-Child Endangerment

     Officers were dispatched to the area of Colonial Plaza regarding a female operating a vehicle impaired.  The caller provided a description of the vehicle which was located by officers at the location.  The driver, Jenna Gilmore was observed, according to reports, as appearing impaired and was unsteady on her feet.  Jenna Gilmore was also found to be in accompany of two small infants in the vehicle.  Gilmore was given a field sobriety test which she failed and indicated to officers that she was under the influence of prescription medication.  Gilmore was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she submitted to an Intoxilyzer 5000 test which indicated a blood alcohol concentration of .000g%.  She was transported to Teche Regional Medical Center where she submitted a blood and urine test.  Those results are pending.  Gilmore was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and incarcerated.

   Officers investigating a complaint of a disturbance at a Fourth St. residence came into contact with Gary Viola who was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana along  with items of drug paraphernalia.  Viola, who admitted that the substance belonged to him was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

     A patrolling officer observed a disturbance at a Highway 182 apartment complex.  A female was observed swinging a metal baseball bat at a male subject, attempting to strike the subject.  The female was then observed striking the male subject with a closed fist.  The officer intervened and detained the female, identified as Jazlyn Bourque.  Bourque was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and incarcerated.

        Officers responded to a disturbance at a Mayon St. residence.  When officers arrived they were flagged down by a male subject who advised that a female subject, Demetria Francis had cut two tires on his vehicle and had struck him during a disturbance.  Officers located Demetria Francis in the area and detained her.  Upon further investigation and speaking with the victim and witnesses, Francis was accused of striking the victim on two occasions during the arguement, one with a glass bowl which she allegedly struck the victim in the face.  Francis was also accused of cutting two tires on the victim's vehicle with a knife which she had retrieved.  Francis was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and incarcerated.
