Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of LA 182 with the high beams activated while approaching other vehicles. A stop was initiated when Orestes Lopez was identified as the operator of the vehicle. Lopez was found not to possess a valid Louisiana Driver’s License. Lopez was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

The warrants stem from an investigation conducted by the Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Division when Louviere was identified as the operator of a vehicle that had negotiated an improper turn in the area of Chestnut Dr. Louviere’s Louisiana Driver’s License was found to be under suspension. Louviere was also found to be in possession of suspected Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia. The investigation continued when warrants were prepared for Louviere’s arrest. Louviere was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Womack was also found to hold active arrest warrants through the 6^th Ward and 16^th Judicial Courts. Horowitz was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Carl Singleton was located and arrested in the area of Garber St. on an active arrest warrant held by the Morgan City Police and 6^th Ward Morgan City Court. The warrants from the Morgan City Police stems from an investigation conducted by the Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Division on June 5, 2018, when a search warrant was executed in the area of Garber St. According to reports, Carl Singleton was identified during the investigation. Singleton was found to be in possession of suspected Cocaine, Amphetamine Salts,  Drug Paraphernalia, and materials used in the production of Crack Cocaine. The investigation continued when warrants were prepared for Singleton’s arrest. Singleton was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of Allison negotiate an improper turn. A stop was initiated when Larry Lim was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, Lim was found to be in an intoxicated state. Lim performed poorly on Standardized Field Sobriety Test. Lim was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail for Chemical testing which he submitted to registering .194g% blood alcohol content. Lim was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Donald R. Grubbs II, 38 years of age, address: Bayou Black Dr. Gibson, La., arrested on 06/25/2018 @ 7:20 a.m.

Patrol officers responded to the area of LA 70 in regards to a vehicle being operated in a reckless manner. Officers arrived and located a vehicle fitting the description that was provided. The vehicle was observed negotiating an improper turn. A stop was initiated when Donald R. Grubbs II was identified as the operator. According to reports, Grubbs was found to be in an intoxicated state. Grubbs performed poorly on Standardized Field Sobriety Test. There was an indication that Grubbs was under the influence of prescription medication. Grubbs was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail for Chemical Testing which he submitted to registering .000g% blood alcohol content. A blood specimen was obtained from Grubbs which is pending analysis at the Louisiana State Police Crime Lab. Grubbs was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Patrol officers observed a female walking in the area of LA 182 that appeared to be in a very inebriated condition. A stop was initiated when Korianne M. Parker was identified. Parker was found to be in an intoxicated state. Parker was also found to hold an active arrest warrant through the Morgan City Police. The warrant stems from an investigation conducted by the Morgan City Police Department Detectives Division on June 8, 2018, when Parker allegedly took two air conditioners valued at $530 from a residence after being evicted. The investigation continued when warrants were prepared for Parker’s arrest. Parker was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Patrol officers responded to the area of Fifth St. in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived when Gerald A. Sylvester was identified as one of the parties involved. According to reports, Sylvester allegedly struck the victim during a verbal altercation. A small child was present during the incident. Sylvester was found to hold an active arrest warrant through the Morgan City Police. The warrant stems from an investigation conducted by the Morgan City Police Department Detectives Division on March 08, 2018 when they responded to the area Railroad Ave. due to a shooting that had taken place. Gerald Sylvester was identified as one of the parties involved in this incident. It was discovered during the investigation Sylvester possessed a firearm during the shooting. It was found that Sylvester was a convicted felon which prohibited him from possessing a firearm. The investigation continued when warrants were prepared for Sylvester’s arrest. Sylvester was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
