MCPD Arrest Report 10/05/2017

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 33 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 10/04/2017:

Jeremy Gamble Jr 10042017

Jeremy E. Gamble Jr., 19 years of age, address: Elaine St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 10/04/2017 @ 8:59 a.m.

Charges: Accessory After The Fact To Simple Burglary

Jeremy E. Gamble Jr. was located and arrested at the Assumption Parish Detention Center on an active warrant for his arrest held by the Morgan City Police. The warrant stems from an investigation conducted by the Morgan City Police Department Detectives Division when a burglary was reported in the area of Front Street. Jeremy E. Gamble Jr. was developed as a suspect during the investigation. Evidence was uncovered linking Gamble to actions after the burglary occurred in the disposal of the items that were taken. The investigation is ongoing. Gamble was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Kelly J. Bolton, 69 years of age, address: Leona St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 10/04/2017 @ 1:00 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. for Trial on 01/08/2004

Kelly J. Bolton was located and arrested in the area of LA 182 on an active warrant for his arrest held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Bolton was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Lawrence J. Rebardi Jr., 53 years of age, address: Duke St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 10/05/2017 @ 5:25 a.m.

Charges: Disturbing the Peace

Patrol officers responded to a residence in the area of Eighth St. in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived and Lawrence J. Rebardi Jr. was identified as one of the subjects involved. It was learned during the investigation that Rebardi was causing a disturbance at the residence. Rebardi was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
