MCPD Arrest Report 10/19/2017

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 27 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 10/18/2017:

Deirdre L. Martin, 43 years of age, address: Prarie Rd. Franklin, La., arrested on 10/18/2017 @ 8:17 a.m.

Charges: Driving under Suspension
                 Wrong Way on a One Way

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of Glenwood Street traveling the wrong way of travel during school zone hours. A stop was initiated and Deirdre L. Martin was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, Martin’s Louisiana Driver’s License was found to be under suspension. Martin was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Brian Delaune 10192017

Brian Delaune, 32 years of age, address: Bush St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 10/18/2017 @ 1:38 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: Possession of Stolen Things over $25,000

Brian Delaune was located and arrested at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Detention Center on an active arrest warrant held by the Morgan City Police. The warrant stems from an investigation conducted by the Morgan City Police Department Detectives Division on September 8, 2017, in regards to a burglary. According to reports, Delaune was developed as a suspect during the investigation. Evidence was uncovered linking Delaune to possessing the property after the burglary had occurred. Warrants were prepared for Delaune's arrest. Delaune was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated. The investigation is still ongoing. 

Ke’Sean M. Francois, 17 years of age, address: Park St. Patterson, La., arrested on 10/18/2017 @ 3:55 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: Theft under $1,000

Ke’Sean M. Francois was located and arrested at the Morgan City Police Department on an active arrest warrant held by the Morgan City Police. The warrant stems from an investigation conducted by patrol officers on September 28, 2017, when patrol officers responded to the area of Maple St. in regards to a Theft. During the investigation Ke’Sean M. Francois was developed as a suspect. According to reports, Francois allegedly had stolen an item from the victim valued at $256 dollars. The investigation continued and warrants were prepared for Francois’ arrest. Francois was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Samuel A. Morgan Sr., 50 years of age, address: St. Clair St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 10/18/2017 @ 7:07 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: Probation Violation
                 Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Probation Fee on 10/04/2016

Samuel A. Morgan Sr. was located an arrested at the Morgan City Police Department on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Morgan was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Anthony Maize, 60 years of age, address: South Railroad Ave. Morgan City, La., arrested on 10/18/2017 @ 7:33 p.m.

Charges: Criminal Trespassing
                 Simple Assault
                 Disturbing the Peace

Patrol officers responded to a residence in the area of South Railroad Ave. in regards to a disturbance. According to report, Anthony Maize was identified as one of the subjects involved. Allegedly Maize had approached the victim at their residence and began to yell profanities and threaten them. Maize was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Quentin T. Delco, 35 years of age, address: Bowman St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 10/19/2017 @ 1:55 a.m.

Charges: Possession of SCH I CDS (Synthetic Marijuana)
                 Violation of Uniform CDS Law (Drug-Free Zone)
                 Criminal Trespassing
                 
Patrol officers came in contact with Quentin T. Delco in the area of Federal Ave. According to reports, Delco was found to be in possession of Synthetic Marijuana. It was also found during the investigation that Delco was coming from a residence in Jacquet Homes. Delco is barred from entering upon any Housing Authority Properties. The area where this incident had taken place is within a Drug-Free Zone. Delco was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
