Arrest Report 02/28/2014

The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning 02/27/2014:

 

Christopher Pollard, 28 years of age, Address-Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/27/2014 @ 8:53am

Charge: Operating a Vehicle with a Suspended Drivers License; Improper Display of a License Plate

     An officer patrolling the area of Sxith St. and Brashear Avenue stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation and discovered that the driver, Christopher Pollard was operating a vehicle with a suspended drivers license.  Pollard was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated. 

 

 

Glynn A. Guidry, 34 years of age, Address-Berwick, La. was arrested on 02/27/2014 @ 9:20am

Charge: Warrant: Theft over $500.00

     Glynn Guidry was located at the Berwick Police Department and placed under arrest for an outstanding warrant.  He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated. 

 

Brian Henderson, 30 years of age, Address-Utah St. Berwick, La. was arrested on 02/27/2014 @ 6:26pm

Charge: Warrant:Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon

Brian Henderson was located on Sacred Heart Dr. and placed under arrest on an outstanding warrant dating back to 2003.  Henderson was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked on the outstanding warrant. 

 

Alyssa L. Ashmore, 24 years of age, Address-Chester Bowles Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/27/2014 @ 6:35am

Charge: Warrants: Failure to Pay Fine-Carless Operation, Contempt of Court, Driving Under Suspension

     Alyssa Ashmore was arrested at the Morgan City Poilce Department on an outstanding warrant.  She was booked and incarcerated. 

 

Ricky Cheramie, 37 years of age, Address-Golden Meadow, La. was arrested on 02/27/2014 @ 11:03pm

Charge: Possession of a Schedule II CDS-Methamphetamine

Lacie Cheramie, 31 years of age, Address-Golden Meadow, La. was arrested on 02/28/2014 @ 3:44am

Charge: Possession of Schedule II CDS-Vicodin

Officers were dispatched to the area of Highway 182 and Halsey St. in regards to a subject attempting to locate his wife who was on foot in the area.  Officers arrived and came into contact with Ricky Cheramie, who according to reports, appearing in an impaired condition.  Cheramie advised officers that he could not locate his wife and seeked assistance.  Officers were able to locate the female, Lacie Cheramie who was found in an impaired and incoherent state.  Lacie Cheramie was transported to Teche Regional for treatment.  Upon speaking to Ricky Cheramie, officers located a substance beleived to be methamphetamine, a controlled dangerous substance.  He as arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was incarcerated.  Later, officers were dispatched to Teche Regional regarding Lacy Cheramie, who according to reports, had several Vicodin pills hidden in her undergarmets.  She was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.  

 

Michael McDonald, 63 years of age, Address-Walnut Dr. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/28/2014 @ 3:19am

Charge: Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated; Hit & Run Driving

     Officers were dispatched to the area of Walnut Drive in regards to a vehicle being driven with a flat tire.  Officers arrived in the area and were advised by a witness that they had observed a vehicle being driven with a flat tire which had struck a parked vehicle on Walnut Drive.  Officers were led to a Walnut St. residence where they spoke to the alleged driver, Michael McDonald who, according to reports appeared impaired.  The subject, Cheramie submitted to a field sobriety test in which he did poorly on.  He was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where, according to reports, refused to provide an adequate sample for the Intoxilyzer 5000 test.  He was booked and incarcerated.
