Arrest Report 03/03/2014

The following were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning 02/28/2014:

 

Davonte J. Williams, 21 years of age, Address-Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/28/2014 @ 9:00am

Charge: Warrant: Failure to Pay Probation Fee; Failure to Pay Fine

Davonte Williams was transported from Patterson Police Department to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked on an oustanding warrant.  He was booked and incarcerated. 

 

Joseph H. Pollard, 51 years of age, Address-Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/28/2014 @ 1:50pm

Charge: Warrant: Failure to Pay Fine-Open Container

     Joseph Pollard was transported from Allen Correctional Center in Kinder, La. to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked on an outstanding warrant.  He was booked and incarcerated. 

 

 Jason J. Blanchard, 36 years of age, Address-Patterson, La. was arrested on 03/01/2014 @ 12:44am

Charge: Unauthorized Entry into an Inhabited Dwelling; Simple Battery; Warrant: Failure to Appear-Remaining after being Forbidden; Warrant: Failure to Appear-Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated 

Officers were dispatched to a Railroad Avenue residence in regards to a subject forcing his way into a residence.  Officers arrived and learned that Blanchard, an exboyfriend of the complainant had forced his way into the residence, shoving the complainant and made attempts to sleep inside the residence.  Officerrs located Blanchard and discovered that he also was wanted on outstanding warrants. He was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and remains incarcerated. 

 

Michael P. Granger, 61 years of age, Address-Fifth St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/28/2014 @ 10:37pm

Charge: Warrants: Failure to Pay Fine-Improper Lane Usage; No Insurance

Officers were dispatched to a Union St. lounge in regards to a disturbance.  Once there, the located Michael Granger who was found to be wanted on outstanding warrants.  He was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated. 

 

 Mark A. Eugene, 49 years of age, Address-Morgan City, La. was arrested on 03/01/2014 @ 1:51am

Charge: Criminal Trespassing; Resisting an Officer; Disturbing the Peace

Officers were dispatched to an Apple St. residence in regards to the above subject causing a disturbance.  When officers arrived, Eugene, who had been previously banned from the housing areas located on Apple St. fled from officers.  Officers were able to apprahend Eugene and place him under arrest. He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated. 

 

 Kentrell F. Diggs, 21 years of age, Address-Morgan City, La. was arrested on 03/01/2014 @ 4:01am

Charge: Warrants: Probation Violation; Failure to Appear-Possession of Stolen Things (3 Counts); Contempt of Court

A patrolling officer observed Kentrell Diggs in the area of a Hwy 182 business and detained him.  Diggs was found to be wanted for several outstanding warrants and was arrested. He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated. 

 

Scott J. Moffatt, 25 years of age, Address-Leona St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 03/02/2014 @ 10:04am

Charge: Appearing in an Intoxicated Condition; Resisting an Officer

Officers were dispatched to the area of Freret St. and First St. in regards to an intoxicated subject. Officers arrived and located a male subject, Scott Moffatt lying outside a vehicle.  The subject who appeared highly intoxicated was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he became unruly and had to be physically removed from the police unit and placed in a holding cell.  He was booked and incarcerated. 

 

Erick I Deleon, 20 years of age, Address-First St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 03/02/2014 @ 6:01pm

Charge: Urinating in Public

Officers were dispatched to a First St. residence regarding a subject urinating in public.  Officers arrived and were directed to an intoxicated subject, identified as Erick Deleon.  Deleon was identified as the subject.  He was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated. 

 

Cody M. Lirette, 25 years of age, Address-Houma, La. was arrested on 03/02/2014 @ 8:37pm

Charge: Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated; Resisting an Officer

Kayla M. Lirette, 24 years of age, Address-Houma, La. was arrested on 03/02/2014 @ 8:47pm

Charge: Disturbing the Peace; Resisting an Officer

Officers were dispatched to a Highway 182 lounge in regards to a disturbance.  Officers arrived and were advised by staff and witnesses that two subjects, Cody Lirette and Kayla Lirette were inside the loung causing a disturbance then, moving the disturbance into the parking lot.  Both Cody and Kayla were located in the parking lot and detained.  They refused to cooperate and cease the disturbance and were ultimately arrested.  Both subjects had to be physically restrained and placed under arrest. They were transported to the Morgan City Police Department where they were booked and incarcerated.
