MCPD Arrest Report 12/01/2017

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 31 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 11/30/2017:

Addie M. Guidry, 38 years of age, address: Sixth St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 11/30/2017 @ 1:14 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. for Drug Court on 09/18/2017 (4 Counts)(16th Judicial)
                 Warrant: F.T.A. for Trial on 11/16/2017 (2 Counts)(6th Ward)
                 Resisting an Officer by giving False Information

Patrol officers initiated a stop on a vehicle in which Addie M. Guidry was an occupant. When officers made initial contact with Guidry she allegedly gave officers a false name. She was identified during the investigation and it was found that she held several active arrest warrants through the 16th Judicial and 6th Ward Morgan City Courts. Guidry was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Hebert Brown, 35 years of age, address: Seventy Nine Pines Morgan City, La., arrested on 11/30/2017 @ 7:08 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. for Trial on 03/11/2014 (2 Counts)

Herbert Brown was located and arrested in the area of LA 182 on active arrest warrants held by the 16th Judicial Court. Brown was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Tara Oubre 11302017

Tara Oubre, 28 years of age, address: Brashear Ave. Morgan City, La., arrested on 11/30/2017 @ 9:42 p.m.

Charges: Domestic Abuse Battery-Strangulation

Ulyess Boudreaux 11302017

Ulyess J. Boudreaux Jr., 37 years of age, address: Brashear Ave. Morgan City, La., arrested on 11/30/2017 @ 9:42 p.m.

Charges: Domestic Abuse Battery-Strangulation
                 False Imprisonment

Patrol officers responded to the area of Brashear Ave. in regards to a domestic disturbance. Officers arrived and Tara Oubre and Ulyess J. Boudreaux Jr. were identified as the subjects involved. According to reports, Oubre and Boudreaux were involved in a physical altercation and committed batteries on each other which included strangulation. When Oubre attempted to leave the residence Boudreaux allegedly prevented her from doing so. Both subjects exhibited injuries from the altercation. Oubre and Boudreaux were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.
