MCPD Arrest Report 01/19/2018
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 27 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 01/17/2018:
Audreauxa Johnson, 36 years of age, address: Bowman St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 01/18/2018 @ 9:50 p.m.
Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. for Court on 09/25/2017
Audreauxa Johnson was located and arrested in the area of US 90 on an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Johnson was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.
Joshua N. Bertrand, 39 years of age, address: Levee Rd. Morgan City, La., arrested on 01/18/2018 @ 10:47 p.m.
Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Fine 01/09/2018
Joshua N. Bertrand was located and arrested in the area of LA 182 on an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Bertrand was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Lamonta L. Thomas, 21 years of age, address: Mill Rd. Patterson, La., arrested on 01/18/2018 @ 11:13 p.m.
Charges: Possession of Marijuana 2nd Offense
Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of Sixth St. without any operable headlights. A stop was initiated and Lamonta L. Thomas was identified as an occupant of the vehicle. According to reports, Thomas was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana. Thomas was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Gannon T. Broussard Jr., 27 years of age, address: Seventh St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 01/19/2018 @ 12:50 a.m.
Charges: Domestic Abuse Battery
Patrol officers responded to a residence in the area of Seventh St. in regards to a domestic disturbance. Officers arrived and according to reports, Gannon T. Broussard Jr. was identified as one of the subjects involved. Allegedly Broussard struck the victim during the altercation. Broussard was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
