Arrest Report 03/13/2014

The following were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning 03/12/2014:

 

Victoria Sibley, 22 years of age, Address-Franklin, La. was arrested on 03/12/2014 @ 10:36am

Charge: Hold for St. Mary S.O.; Warrant: Failure to pay Restitution

    Victoria Sibley was transported to the Morgan City Jail facility to be house for the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Department.  It was discovered that Sibley was wanted on an outstanding warrant for the Morgan City Police Department.  She was booked and incarcerated.

 

Andrew R. Aucoin, 72 years of age, Address-Bowman St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 03/12/2014 @ 11:42am

Charge: Warrant: Aggravated Rape (2 Counts); Aggravated Incest (2 Counts); Oral Sexual Battery (2 Counts)

     Andrew R. Aucoin was arrested on warrants related to an investigation by Detectives of the Morgan City Police Department.  In that investigation, it is alleged that Aucoin had inappropriate sexual contact with two seperate female victims who were between 6 years and 8 years old at the time of the offenses.  The victims eventually reported the incidents to an adult who in turn, contacted authorities at which time the investigation began in October 2013.  Detectives located Aucoin and transported him to the Morgan City Police Department where he was placed under arrest and booked.  He remains incarcerated with no bond yet set. 

 

Matthew J. Miller, 20 years of age, Address-Gen. Clark Morgan City, La. was arrested on 03/13/2014 @ 12:06am

Charge: Theft (Under $300.00); Warrant: Probation Violation

A patrolling officer observed Matthew Miller near a Brashear Ave. pharmacy.  The officer was aware of outstanding warrants for Miller and detained him.  He was placed under arrest on the warrant.  Upon searching the suspect, the officer discovered that Miller was in possession of items valued at $8.65 which the officer discovered that Miller had just allegedly stolen from the pharmacy.  Miller was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated. 

 

 David Mire, 37 years of age, Address-Morgan City, La. was arrested on 03/12/2014 @ 9:58pm

Charge: Warrant: Creation of a Clandestine Lab;Warrant: Creation of a Clandestine Lab within 1000 ft of School Property; Create or Operate a Clandestine Laboratory for the Unlawful Manufacture of CDS; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Tiffany Chauvin, 31 years of age, Address-Fifth St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 03/13/2014 @ 02:00am

Charge: Create/Operate a Clandestine Laboratory for the Unlawful Manufacture of CDS; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; Possession of Schedule II CDS-Methadone; Possession of Schedule IV CDS-Xanax

       Investigators with the Morgan City Police Department received information regarding the location of David Mire who was wanted on outstanding warrants stemming from an alleged incident in February 2014 which a clandestine lab was located in the area of Sixth St.  Detectives identified Mire as the suspect in that incident and secured a warrant for his arrest.  Mire, who had been featured in the areas "Most Wanted" feature had eluded police since that incident.  Narcotics investigators were able to locate Mire at a residence located in the 300 Block of Fifth St. in Morgan City.  Mire at the time of his arrest was found to be in the accompany of two other subjects, Eddie Mayfield and Tiffany Chauvin who according to reports, were in the process of operating a clandestine lab to manufacture Methamphetamine, a controlled dangerous substance.  Detectives detained ths suspects and secured the area.  Due to the hazardous environment, a crew was summoned to the residence to perform a clean up of the hazardous materials.  The subjects were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where they were booked and remain incarcerated.  Chauvin, was also found to possess Methadone and Xanax, both controlled substances.  They remain incarcerated with no bond yet set.
