MCPD Arrest Report 02/07/2018
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 42 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 02/06/2018:
Trinity Harris, 18 years of age, address: Greenwood St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 02/06/2018 @ 8:48 a.m.
Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. for Trial on 01/23/2018
Warrant: F.T.A. for Trial on 01/25/2018 (2 counts)
Trinity Harris was located and arrested in the area of Patton St. on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Harris was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.
Blaise K. Crane, 23 years of age, address: Verdunville Rd. Franklin, La., arrested on 02/06/2018 @ 12:29 p.m.
Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Fine on 11/28/2017
Blaise K. Crane was located and arrested at the Morgan City Police Department on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Crane was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Troy J. Charpentier, 37 years of age, address: Clark Rd. Morgan City, La., arrested on 02/06/2018 @ 3:46 p.m.
Charges: Driving under Suspension
Patrol officers initiated a stop on a vehicle in the area of LA 182 for an equipment violation. Troy J. Charpentier was identified as the operator of the vehicle. Charpentier’s Louisiana Driver’s License was found to be under suspension. Charpentier was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Devon Marsh, 25 years of age, address: Ciro St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 02/06/2018 @ 3:47 p.m.
Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Fine on 10/10/2017
Warrant: F.T.A. for Arraignment on 10/31/2017
Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Fine on 12/05/2017
Devon Marsh was located and arrested at the Patterson Police Department on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Marsh was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Kristie L. Bourg, 40 years of age, address: Bankers Ct. Pierre Part, La., arrested on 02/06/2018 @ 5:17 p.m.
Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. for Arraignment on 11/14/2017
Kristie L. Bourg was located and arrested at the Assumption Parish Detention Center on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Bourg was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Charges: Theft by Shoplifting

Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Fine on 12/19/2017 (5 counts)
Patrol officers responded to a local business in the area of Victor II Blvd in regards to a shoplifter. Officers arrived and according to reports, Lorelyn M. Gotcher was identified. Allegedly Gotcher took items from the business valued at $43.57. Records indicate that Gotcher has been arrested in the past at this particular business and barred from the store. Gotcher was also found to hold active arrest warrants through the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Gotcher was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Charges: Warrant: Possession of SCH II CDS (Hydrocodone)
Warrant: Possession of SCH IV CDS (Alprazolam)
Warrant: Possession of SCH IV CDS (Tramadol)
Eddie P. Deslattes Jr. was located and arrested in the area of Onstead St. on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police. The warrants stem from an investigation conducted by patrol officers on November 12, 2017, when Deslattes was found to be in possession of suspected Hydrocodone, Alprazolam, and Tramadol. The investigation continued and warrants were prepared for his arrest. Deslattes was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
