MCPD Arrest Report 02/12/2018

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 72-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 114 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 02/09/2018:

Justin D. Price, 29 years of age, address: General McArthur Morgan City, La., arrested on 02/09/2018 @ 1:10 p.m.

Charges: F.T.A. for Arraignment on 11/30/2017 (2 counts)(16th Judicial)
                 F.T.A. for Trial on 09/28/2017 (6th Ward)

Justin D. Price was located and arrested in the area of Front. St. on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward and 16th Judicial Courts. Price was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Carlon J. Gonsoulin, 28 years of age, address: Hwy 70 Pierre Part, La., arrested on 02/09/2018 @ 4:47 p.m.

Charges: Possession of Marijuana 2nd Offense

Patrol officers encountered a male subject in the area of Second who was acting in a suspicious manner. Carlon J. Gonsoulin was identified. According to reports, officers located suspected marijuana in the area where Gonsoulin was walking. Evidence was uncovered linking the suspected marijuana to Gonsoulin. Gonsoulin was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Austin Spillman, 19 years of age, address: Fern St. Patterson, La., arrested on 02/09/2018 @ 8:24 p.m.

Charges: Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated

Patrol officers responded to the area of Victor II Blvd in regards to a disturbance. According to reports, officers arrived and Austin Spillman was identified. Spillman was found to be in an intoxicated state. Spillman was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Stanley Ruffin Sr., 50 years of age, address: Second St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 02/09/2018 @ 8:49 p.m.

Charges: Driving under Suspension
                 Improper Lighting

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of Railroad Ave. without proper lighting. A stop was initiated and Stanley Ruffin Sr. was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, Ruffin’s Louisiana Driver’s License was found to be under suspension. Ruffin was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Ricky Dotson, 55 years of age, address: Wren St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 02/10/2018 @ 2:55 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: Criminal Mischief
                 Warrant: Aiding and Abetting Other to Enter Premises Where Forbidden

Ricky Dotson was located and arrested in the area Veterans Blvd. on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police. The warrants stem from an investigation conducted by patrol officers on September 28, 2017 when officers responded to the area of Brownell Homes in regards to a crash. According to reports, Ricky Dotson identified himself as the operator of the vehicle. During the course of the investigation it was learned that Dotson had provided a false statement to officers and that he was not the operator of the vehicle. The operator of the vehicle was identified and found to be barred from entering upon Housing Authority Property. The investigation continued and warrants were prepared for Dotson’s arrest. Dotson was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Kierra A. Paddio, 19 years of age, address: Freret St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 02/10/2018 @ 8:09 p.m.

Charges: Disturbing the Peace by Fistic Encounters
                 Warrant: Probation Violation
                 Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Fine on 06/28/2017

Brooke Rulf, 20 years of age, address: Murial St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 02/10/2018 @ 8:09 p.m.

Charges: Disturbing the Peace by Fistic Encounters

Lionesha Rainey, 18 years of age, address: Railroad Ave. Morgan City, La., arrested on 02/10/2018 @ 8:09 p.m.

Charges: Disturbing the Peace by Fistic Encounters

Patrol officers responded to the area of Railroad Ave. in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived and Kierra A. Paddio, Brooke Rulf, and Lionesha Rainey were identified as the subjects involved. According to reports, Paddio, Rulf, and Rainey were involved in a fistic encounter. Paddio was also found to hold active arrest warrants through the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. The trio was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.

Jordon Bourque 02122018

Jordon R. Bourque, 30 years of age, address: Liberty Ave. Lafayette, La., arrested on 02/10/2018 @ 9:30 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. for Arraignment on 08/15/2018 (4 counts)
                 Warrant: Possession of Marijuana
                 Warrant: Possession of SCH II CDS (Hydrocodone)
                 Warrant: Possession of a Legend Drug (Tadalafil)
                 Warrant: Open Container of an Alcoholic Beverage in a Motor Vehicle

Jordon R. Bourque was located and arrested at the Morgan City Police Department on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court and the Morgan City Police. The warrants stem from an investigation conducted b y patrol officers on July 9, 2017 when a stop was initiated on a vehicle and Bourque was identified as the operator. According to reports, Bourque was found to be in possession of suspected Marijuana, Hydrocodone, Tadalafil, and an open container of an alcoholic beverage. The investigation continued and warrants were prepared for Bourque’s arrest. Bourque was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Shawna K. Fontenot, 45 years of age, address: Columbus St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 02/10/2018 @ 11:13 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: Disturbing the Peace by Fistic Encounters

Shawna K. Fontenot was located and arrested in the area of Third St. on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police. The warrants stem from an investigation conducted by patrol officer on October 24, 2015 when officers responded to the area of Youngs Rd. in regard to a disturbance. According to reports, Shawna K. Fontenot was identified as one of the subjects involved. Allegedly Fontenot was involved in a fistic encounter with another subject. The investigation continued and warrants were prepared for Fontenot’s arrest. Fontenot was transported to the Morgan City  Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Dustin R. Pike, 21 years of age, address: Ratcliff Ln. Franklin, La., arrested on 02/10/2018 @ 11:13 p.m.

Charges: Failure to Comply with the Terms and Condition of Drug Court (3 Counts)

Dustin R. Pike was located and arrested in the area of Third St. on active arrest warrants held by the 16th Judicial Court. Pike was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Nicole Hampton, 30 years of age, address: Southeast Blvd. Morgan City, La., arrested on 02/11/2018 @ 3:16 a.m.

Charges: Disturbing the Peace

Patrol officers responded to a local business in the area of LA 182 in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived and Nicole Hampton was identified. According to reports, Hampton continued to cause a disturbance and use profanity in the presence of the officers. Hampton was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Benjamin Moran, 33 years of age, address: Cypress Station Dr. Houston, TX., arrested on 02/11/2018 @ 3:08 a.m.

Charges: Simple Battery
                 Remaining after being Forbidden

Patrol officers responded to a local business in the area of LA 182 in regards to a disturbance. According to reports, officers arrived and Benjamin Moran was identified as the subject involved. Allegedly Moran struck the victim during the disturbance and refused to leave the premises. Moran was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Davin B. Sanders, 24 years of age, address: S.W. St. Lawrence Dr Dunnellon, FL., arrested on 02/11/2018 @ 4:23 a.m.

Charges: Disturbing the Peace

Patrol officers responded to a local business in the area of LA 182 in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived and Davin B. Sanders was identified as the subject involved. According to reports, Sanders began to use profanity in the presence of the officers and cause a disturbance. Sanders was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Kayla M. Fryou, 26 years of age, address: General Hodges, Morgan City, La., arrested on 02/11/2018 @ 7:44 a.m.

Charges: Warrant: Probation Violation

Kayla M. Fryou was located and arrested in the area of Hemlock St. on an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Fryou was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Haven Wiggins, 17 years of age, address: Sacred Heart Dr. Morgan City, La., arrested on 02/11/2018 @ 3:48 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: No Driver’s License

Haven Wiggins was located and arrested in the area of Myrtle St. on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police. The warrant stems from an investigation conducted by patrol officers on January 19, 2018 when Wiggins was observed operating a vehicle and the officer had prior knowledge she did not possess a valid Louisiana Driver’s License. A stop was initiated and Wiggins assured she had a permit at her residence. She was instructed to present the permit to the Morgan City Police Department and when she didn’t warrants were prepared for her arrest. Wiggins was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Conley T. Jones, 68 years of age, address: Joseph St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 02/12/2018 @ 12:35 a.m.

Charges: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
                 Hold for Probation and Parole

Conley T. Jones was located and arrested in the area of Halsey St. on an active arrest warrant held by Probation and Parole. Upon taking Jones’ in to custody he was found to be in possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Jones was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Myles Taylor, 31 years of age, address: Oak Side Alley Lafayette, La., arrested on 02/12/2018 @ 3:17 a.m.

Charges: Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated
                 Open Container

Philip A. Russo, 30 years of age, address: Orleans Ave. New Orleans, La., arrested on 02/12/2018 @ 3:17 a.m.

Charges: Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated

Patrol officers responded to the area of Railroad Ave. in regards to two suspicious subject walking on the railroad tracks. According to reports, officers arrived and Myles Taylor and Philip A. Russo were identified. The duo was found to be in an intoxicated state and Taylor was in possession of an open alcoholic beverage. Taylor and Russo were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.
