MCPD Arrest Report 02/16/2018
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 41 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 02/15/2018:
Carolyn L. Bouillion, 46 years of age, address: Belanger St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 02/15/2018 @ 1:04 p.m.
Charges: Domestic Abuse Battery
Warrant: Theft under $1,000
Patrol officers responded to the area of Belanger St. in regards to a disturbance. According to reports, Carolyn L. Bouillion was identified as one of the subjects involved. Allegedly Bouillion struck the victim during an altercation. Bouillion was also found to hold an active arrest warrant through the Morgan City Police. The warrant stems from an investigation conducted by patrol officers in August of 2014 when Bouillion allegedly took $40.00 dollars of U.S. Currency from the victim. Bouillion was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.
Richard K. Hawkins, 42 years of age, address: Birch St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 02/15/2018 @ 1:13 p.m.
Charges: Domestic Abuse Battery
Patrol officers responded to the area of Terrebonne St. in regards to a disturbance. According to reports, Richard K. Hawkins was identified as one of the subjects involved. Allegedly Hawkins struck the victim during an altercation. Hawkins was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Johnathon Priestley, 24 years of age, address: Fourth St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 02/15/2018 @ 2:55 p.m.
Charges: Warrant: Probation Violation
Johnathon Priestley was located and arrested at the Morgan City Police Department on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Priestley was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.
Joseph J. Jessie, 39 years of age, address: Utah St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 02/15/2018 @ 11:28 p.m.

Resisting an Officer by Giving False Information
Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of Marshall St. by a subject who was known to the officer as Joseph Jessie. The officer had knowledge that Mr. Jessie’s Louisiana Driver’s License was under suspension and he held several active arrest warrants through the Morgan City Police, 6th Ward and 16th Judicial Courts. A stop was initiated Jessie was taken into custody. The warrants through the Morgan City Police stem from an investigation conducted by patrol officers on February 11, 2018, when Jessie allegedly provided officers with a false name during an unrelated investigation. Jessie was later identified and warrants were prepared for his arrest. Katie J. Robinson and Herman L. Sonnier Jr. were identified as occupants of the vehicle. According to reports, Robinson was found to be in possession of suspected Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia and Jessie was found to be in possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Sonnier provided officers with a false name prior to being identified. Sonnier was found to hold an active arrest warrant through the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. The trio was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.
Dequarius Louis, 20 years of age, address: Ciro St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 02/16/2018 @ 12:19 a.m.
Charges: Fugitive
Resisting an Officer by Giving False Information
Dequarius Louis was located and arrested in the area of LA 182 on active arrest warrants through the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office in Beaumont, TX. Allegedly during the investigation, Louis provided officers with a false name prior to being identified. Louis was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
