MCPD Arrest Report 02/21/2018
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 41 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 02/20/2018:
Douglas Dilsaver Jr., 35 years of age, address: Sixth St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 02/20/2018 @ 7:20 a.m.
Charges: Possession of SCH II CDS (Hydrocodone)
Possession of SCH II CDS (Oxycodone)
Possession of Marijuana
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Warrant: F.T.A. for Trial on 01/16/2018
Patrol officers responded to the area of Grizzaffi St. in regards to a suspicious subject. Officers arrived and Douglas Dilsaver Jr. was identified. According to reports, Dilsaver was found to hold an active arrest warrant through the 16th Judicial Court. Dilsaver was also found to be in possession of suspected Hydrocodone, Oxycodone, Marijuana, and Drug Paraphernalia. Dilsaver was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Warrant: F.T.A. for Trial on 01/16/2018

Nathaniel Jones, 60 years of age, address: Cherry St. Patterson, La., arrested on 02/20/2018 @ 12:41 p.m.
Charges: Theft under $1,000
Patrol officers responded to a local business in the area of LA 182 in regards to a theft. According to reports, officers arrived and Nathaniel Jones was identified. Jones allegedly took merchandise valued at $89.85 from the business. Jones was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Herman T. Solone, 26 years of age, address: Cardinal St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 02/20/2018 @ 3:56 p.m.
Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Fine on 09/12/2017 (2 counts)
Warrant: F.T.A. for Revocation on 09/23/2016 (16th Judicial Court)
Herman T. Solone was located and arrested at the Berwick Police Department on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward and 16th Judicial Courts. Solone was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Danny K. Willis Jr., 32 years of age, address: Hickory St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 02/20/2018 @ 10:00 p.m.
Charges: Possession of Marijuana
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Resisting an Officer by Giving False Information
Violation of Uniform CDS Law (Drug-Free Zone)
Patrol officers responded to a local business in the area of LA 182 in regards to a an alarm activation. Officers arrived and Danny K. Willis Jr. was located in front of the business. According to reports, Willis allegedly provided officers with a false name initial before being identified. Willis was found to be in possession of suspected Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia. The area where this incident had taken place is within a Drug-Free Zone. Willis was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
