MCPD Arrest Report 03/09/2018
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 48 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 03/08/2018:
Tylin S. Walker-Parish, 33 years of age, address: Bayou Black Dr. Gibson, La., arrested on 03/08/2018 @ 10:27 a.m.
Charges: Possession of Marijuana
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Patrol officers were investigating an unrelated matter at a local motel in the area of LA 182 when they came in contact with Tylin S. Walker-Parish. According to reports, officers detected an odor of marijuana emitting out of Walker-Parish’s room. Walker-Parish was found to be in possession of suspected Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia. Walker-Parish was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.
Bradley Griffin, 38 years of age, address: Terrebonne St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 03/08/2018 @ 2:42 p.m.
Charges: Speeding 28 mph in a 15 mph Zone
No Driver’s License
Resisting an Officer
Patrol officers observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed through a School Zone area on Marguerite St. A stop was initiated and the operator of the vehicle fled on foot. Bradley Griffin was apprehended and identified as the operator of the vehicle. Griffin was found not to possess a valid Louisiana Driver’s License. Griffin was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Micah Soileau, 20 years of age, address: Joey St. Patterson, La., arrested on 03/09/2018 @ 4:05 a.m.
Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Fine on 02/27/2018 (3 Counts)
Micah Soileau was located and arrested at the Patterson Police Department on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Soileau was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
