MCPD Arrest Report 03/22/2018
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 35 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 03/21/2018:
Jacob N. Klenert, 24 years of age, address: S. Everett St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 03/21/2018 @ 1:20 p.m.
Charges: Criminal Damage to Property
Introduction of Contraband into a Penal Facility
Correction Officers with the Morgan City Jail detected smoke coming from one of the cells on the cell block. The smoke was located in a cell that was occupied by Jacob Klenert. Klenert was found to be in possession of a razor blade. Klenert also damaged property that was issued to him during his stay that belonged to the Morgan City Police Department. Klenert was arrested and booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.
Jude Resignola, 22 years of age, address: Federal Ave. Morgan City, La., arrested on 03/21/2018 @ 8:51 p.m.
Charges: Warrant: Probation Violation
Jude Resignola was located and arrested in the area of Federal Ave. on an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Resignola was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Harley M. Campo, 23 years of age, address: Ledet Dr. Thibodaux, La., arrested on 03/21/2018 @ 9:53 p.m.
Charges: Possession of Marijuana
Brennan M. Moore, 22 years of age, address: Levet Ln. Franklin, La., arrested on 03/21/2018 @ 9:53 p.m.
Charges: Possession of Marijuana
Trent H. Duhon, 23 years of age, address: St. Luke St. Patterson, La., arrested on 03/21/2018 @ 9:53 p.m.
Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Fine on 02/20/2018
Mark L. Murphree, 56 years of age, address: Third St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 03/21/2018 @ 9:53 p.m.
Charges: Possession of Marijuana
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Patrol officers detected an odor of marijuana in the area of Third St. An investigation was conducted to discover the source of the odor when officers located Harley M. Campo, Brennan Moore, and Trent H. Duhon outside in the area. According to reports, Campo and Moore were found to be in possession of suspected Marijuana. Duhon was found to hold an active arrest warrant through the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. A fourth subject was located in the area and identified as Mark L. Murphree. Murphree was found to be in possession of suspected Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia. Campo, Moore, Duhon, and Murphree was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.
