Arrest Report 03/19/2014

The following were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning 03/18/2014:

 

Kelsey L. Francois, 18 years of age, Address-Orange St. Morgan City, Louisiana was arrested on 03/18/2014 @ 1:44pm

Charge: Speeding; Possession of Marijuana; Possession of Schedule III CDS-Carisoprodol

A patrolling officer observed a vehicle speeding on Federal Avenue and Onstead St. and stopped the vehicle to investigate.  Upon coming into contact with the driver, Kesley Francois, the driver was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana.  It was recovered by the officer and Francois was placed under arrest.  Upon further investigation, Francois was found to be in possession of a Schedule III CDS-Carisoprodol and additionally charged.  She was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and incarcerated.
