MCPD Arrest Report 03/23/2018

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 45 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 03/22/2018: 

Renea K. Wilson, 39 years of age, address: Snead St. Berwick, La., arrested on 03/22/2018 @ 9:21 a.m.

Charges: Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated

Patrol officers responded to the area of Sixth St. in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived and Renea K. Wilson was identified as one of the parties involved. According to reports, Wilson was allegedly found to be in an intoxicated state. Wilson was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Edward J. Breaux, 36 years of age, address: Katie Ct. Bayou Loures, La., arrested on 03/22/2018 @ 1:01 p.m.

Charges: Driving under Suspension
                 Failure to Yield

Patrol officers responded to the area of LA 182 in regards to a crash. Officers arrived and Edward J. Breaux was identified as an operator of one of the vehicles. According to reports, evidence was uncovered placing Breaux at fault for the crash. Breaux’s Louisiana Driver’s License was found to be under suspension. Breaux was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Dustin C. Lennep, 41 years of age, address: Barrow St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 03/22/2018 @ 2:30 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: Probation Violation

Dustin C. Lennep was located and arrested at the Morgan City Police Department on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Lennep was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Kacy L. Bonin, 32 years of age, address: Nevada St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 03/22/2018 @ 3:32 p.m.

Charges: Possession of Marijuana
                 Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated

Patrol officers responded to the area of Nevada St. in regards to a disturbance. According to reports, officers arrived and Kaci L. Bonin was identified. Bonin was found to be in an intoxicated state. Bonin was also found to be in possession of suspected marijuana. Bonin was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Jeremy McCollough, 38 years of age, address: Railroad Ave. Morgan City, La., arrested on 03/22/2018 @ 6:34 p.m.

Charges: Driving While Intoxicated 1st Offense
                 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Patrol officers responded to the area of MLK Blvd in regards to a vehicle suspected of being operated in an erratic manner. A description of the vehicle was obtained and when officers arrived the suspected vehicle was located in the area. A stop was initiated and Jeremy McCollough was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, McCollough was found to be in an intoxicated state. Narcotics is suspected to be the cause of the impairment. McCollough was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail for Chemical Testing which he submitted to resulting in .000g% blood alcohol content. McCollough submitted to blood analysis which is pending. McCollough was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Kahnie Gaudet, 47 years of age, address: Railroad Ave. Morgan City, La., arrested on 03/22/2018 @ 8:09 p.m.

Charges: Violation of a Protective Order

Patrol officers responded to the area of Railroad Ave. in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived and Kahnie Gaudet was identified as one of the parties involved. According to reports, Gaudet was found to have a protective order in effect prohibiting her from being at the residence. Gaudet was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Robert C. Henson, 43 years of age, address: Olive Ln. Patterson, La., arrested on 03/23/2018 @ 2:39 a.m.

Charges: Driving While Intoxicated 1st Offense

Patrol officers located a vehicle in the area of LA 182 with a flat tire. Officers made contact with the operator of the vehicle who was sleeping behind the wheel. Robert C. Henson was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, Henson was found to be in an intoxicated state. Henson refused Standardized Field Sobriety Test. Henson was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail for Chemical Testing which he also refused. Henson was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.
