MCPD Arrest Report 04/02/2018
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 96-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 202 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 03/29/2018:
Quintin M. Williams, 35 years of age, address: Carriage Way Rd., Thibodaux, La., arrested on 03/29/2018 @ 9:47 a.m.
Charges: Warrant: Theft under $1,000
Quinitin M. Williams was located and arrested at the Terrebonne Parish Detention Center on an active arrest warrant held by the Morgan City Police. The warrant stems from an investigation conducted by the Morgan City Police Department Detectives Division on January 6, 2017, when Williams was identified as a suspect in a theft at a local business in the area of LA 70. The investigation continued and warrants were prepared for Williams’ arrest. Williams was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Miguel Amador, 42 years of age, address: Bowman St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 03/29/2018 @ 1:52 p.m.
Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. for Trial on 09/28/2017 (2 counts)
Miguel Amador was located and arrested at the Morgan City Police Department on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Amador was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Broussard was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Patrol officers responded to the area of Fifth St. in regards to a suspicious vehicle in the area. A description of the vehicle was obtained and located in the area a short time later. A stop was initiated when Leonardo H. Espinoza was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, Espinoza was found to be in an intoxicated state. Espinoza performed poorly on Standardized Field Sobriety Test. Espinoza was also found to be in possession of open alcoholic beverages in the vehicle and did not possess a valid Louisiana Driver’s License. Espinoza was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail for Chemical Testing which he submitted to registering .198g% blood alcohol content. Espinoza was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Patrol officers observed a subject operating a bicycle in the middle of LA 182 without any lighting on the bike causing a hazard. A stop was initiated when Brian E. Dixon was identified as the operator of the bike. According to reports, Dixon was found to be in possession of an open alcoholic beverage. Dixon became aggressive with the officer at which time he attempted to detain him. A struggle ensued when a handgun fell out of the pocket of Dixon. Dixon was arrested and handcuffed. Dixon was found to be a convicted felon prohibiting him from possessing a firearm. Dixon was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

According to reports, Hebert allegedly threatened the victim with a knife. During the altercation, Hebert stuck the victim which resulted in them being cut by the knife. There were two small children present during the altercation. When officers located Hebert she began to yell and cause a disturbance. Hebert was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Blanchard’s Louisiana Driver’s License was also found to be under suspension. Patrol officers responded to the area of LA 182 in regards to a crash. Officers arrived and Harold H. Ross was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, Ross was found to be in an intoxicated state. Ross refused Standardized Field Sobriety and Chemical Test. A search warrant was obtained to draw blood for Chemical Analysis which is pending at the Louisiana State Police Crime Lab. Ross was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.
Jeremiah Luke, 38 years of age, address: 79 Pines, Morgan City, La., arrested on 03/31/2018 @ 9:06 a.m.

Patrol officers responded to the area of LA 182 in regards to a suspicious subject. Officers arrived when Jeremiah Luke was identified. According to reports, Luke was found to be in an intoxicated state. Luke was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Patrol officers observed a motorcycle being operated in the area of Sixth St. in a reckless manner. A stop was initiated when Brett Rome was identified as the operator of the motorcycle. According to reports, Rome did not have a motorcycle endorsement. Rome was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Samantha M. Williams, 29 years of age, address: Duke St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 03/31/2018 @ 5:07 p.m.

Patrol officers responded to the area of Louisa St. in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived when Samantha M. Williams and a juvenile were identified. Allegedly Williams and the juvenile were engaged in a fistic encounter. Both subjects were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail for booking. Williams was booked and incarcerated. The juvenile was booked and released to a guardian.

Jeana Domangue was located and arrested at the Morgan City Police Department on an active arrest warrant held by the Morgan City Police. The warrant stems from an investigation conducted by patrol officers on March 14, 2018, when Domangue allegedly threatened the victim during an altercation. The investigation continued and warrants were prepared for Domangue’s arrest. Domangue was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Patrol officers observed a vehicle disregard a traffic control in the area of Grizzaffi St. A stop was initiated when the operator of the vehicle failed to stop. The vehicle traveled a short distance when the operator stopped and an occupant fled the area on foot. Granger was found to hold an active arrest warrant through the Patterson Police. Granger was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Balanos-Franco performed poorly on Standardized Field Sobriety Test. Balanos-Franco was also found not to possess a valid Louisiana Driver’s License. Patrol officers responded to the area of LA 182 in regards to a crash. Officers arrived and Harold H. Ross was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, Ross was found to be in an intoxicated state. Ross refused Standardized Field Sobriety and Chemical Test. A search warrant was obtained to draw blood for Chemical Analysis which is pending at the Louisiana State Police Crime Lab. Ross was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

According to reports, Rome did not have a motorcycle endorsement. Rome was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Patrol officers responded to the area of Louisa St. in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived when Samantha M. Williams and a juvenile were identified. Allegedly Williams and the juvenile were engaged in a fistic encounter. Both subjects were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail for booking. Williams was booked and incarcerated. The juvenile was booked and released to a guardian.

Jeana Domangue was located and arrested at the Morgan City Police Department on an active arrest warrant held by the Morgan City Police. The warrant stems from an investigation conducted by patrol officers on March 14, 2018, when Domangue allegedly threatened the victim during an altercation. The investigation continued and warrants were prepared for Domangue’s arrest. Domangue was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

The vehicle traveled a short distance when the operator stopped and an occupant fled the area on foot. Granger was found to hold an active arrest warrant through the Patterson Police. Granger was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
