MCPD Arrest Report 04/05/2018

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 37 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 04/04/2018:

Kenneth Allridge 04052018

Kenneth Allridge, 53 years of age, address: Oil Tank Alley Morgan City, La., arrested on 04/04/2018 @ 3:18 p.m.

Charges: Possession of SCH II CDS W/I/T/D (Crack Cocaine)
                 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
                 Possession of Marijuana

Investigators with the Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Division with the assistance of the St. Mary Parish Narcotics Section executed a search warrant at a residence in the area of Oil Tank Alley. Kenneth Allridge was identified during the investigation. According to reports, Allridge was found to be in possession of suspected Crack Cocaine, Marijuana, and Drug Paraphernalia. Evidence was uncovered that the cocaine was intended to be distributed. Allridge was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Thomas Clay, 55 years of age, address: West Park Gray, La., arrested on 04/04/2018 @ 9:09 p.m.

Charges: Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated
                 Warrant: F.T.A. for Court on 05/27/2017 (2 counts)

Patrol officers responded to the area of Terrebonne St. in regards to a suspicious subject. Officers arrived and Thomas Clay was identified. According to reports, Clay was found to be in an intoxicated state. Clay was also found to hold active arrest warrants through Terrebonne Parish. Clay was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Donnell Williams, 21 years of age, address: Trevino St. Berwick, La., arrested on 04/05/2018 @ 1:02 a.m.

Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Probation Fee on 09/05/2017
                 Resisting an Officer by Giving False Information
                 No Driver’s License on Person
                 Improper Lighting

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of LA 182 with improper lighting. A stop was initiated when Donnell Williams was eventually identified. Williams allegedly provided officers with a false name upon the initial contact. Williams was found to hold an active arrest warrant through the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Williams also did not possess his Louisiana Driver’s License. Williams was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
