MCPD Arrest Report 04/10/2018
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 42 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 04/09/2018:
Robert P. Dugas Jr., 45 years of age, address: Sycamore St. Franklin, La., arrested on 04/09/2018 @ 6:13 p.m.
Charges: Possession of SCH III CDS (Suboxone)
Driving under Suspension
Patrol officers responded to the area of US 90 in regards to a vehicle being operated in a reckless manner. A description of the vehicle was obtained. When officers arrived in the area they located the vehicle in question. A stop was initiated and Robert P. Dugas Jr. was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, Dugas was found to be in possession of suspected suboxone and his Louisiana Driver’s License was found to be under suspension. Dugas was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Issac D. Jones, 43 years of age, address: Arizona St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 04/10/2018 @ 3:35 a.m.
Charges: Possession of SCH II CDS (Methamphetamine)
Resisting an Officer
Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated
Patrol officers initiated contact with a male subject in the area of Fourth St. The subject who was identified as Issac Jones was found to be in an intoxicated state. Jones was arrested and while being taken into custody resisted officers. Jones was found to be in possession of suspected Methamphetamine. Jones was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
