MCPD Arrest Report 07/18/2018
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 44 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 07/17/2018:
Kyle Q. Rhett, 27 years of age, address: General McArthur St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/17/2018 @ 1:42 p.m.
Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Fine on 07/03/2018 (8 counts)
Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Fine on 06/26/2018
Warrant: F.T.A. for Revocation Hearing 06/22/2018 (16th Judicial)
Kyle Q. Rhett was located and arrested in the area of Fourth St. on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City and 16th Judicial Courts. Rhett was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Brent Meads, 28 years of age, address: Louise St. Thibodeaux, La., arrested on 07/17/2018 @ 2:10 p.m.
Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. for Trial on 02/08/2018
Brent Meads was located and arrested at the Morgan City Police Department on an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Meads was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.
Tammy L. Prevost, 44 years of age, address: Chatsworth Dr. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/17/2018 @ 10:08 p.m.
Charges: Driving under Suspension
Improper Lane Usage
Warrant: F.T.A. for Sentencing Hearing on 05/05/2017
Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of Railroad Ave. in an erratic manner. A stop was initiated when Tammy L. Prevost was identified. According to reports, Prevost’s Louisiana Driver’s License was found to be under suspension. Prevost was also found to hold an active arrest warrant through the 16th Judicial Court. Prevost was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.
