MCPD Arrest Report 07/19/2018
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 38 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 07/18/2018:
Courtnie Chenevert, 36 years of age, address: Onstead St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/18/2018 @ 08:00 a.m.
Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. for Trial on 03/08/2018 (7 counts)
Courtnie Chenevert was located and arrested at the Morgan City Police Department on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Chenevert was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.
Kelly J. Hukill II, 29 years of age, address: Saturn Rd. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/18/2018 @ 2:20 p.m.
Charges: Warrant: Theft
Kelly J. Hukill II was located and arrested in the area of Everett St. on an active arrest warrant held by the Berwick Police Department. Hukill transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Gannon T. Broussard Jr., 28 years of age, address: Seventh St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/18/2018 @ 8:40 p.m.
Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. for Trial on 06/14/2018
Warrant: Simple Battery
Gannon T. Broussard Jr. was located and arrested at the Morgan City Police Department on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court and Morgan City Police. The warrant from the Morgan City Police stems from an investigation conducted by patrol officers on February 22, 2018, when they responded to the area of Railroad Ave. in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived when Gannon T. Broussard Jr. was identified as one of the parties involved. According to reports, Broussard allegedly struck the victim during a verbal altercation. The investigation continued when warrants were prepared for Broussard’s arrest. Broussard was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.
Emilie K. Businelle, 25 years of age, address: Superior Ln. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/19/2018 @ 1:55 a.m.
Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Probation Fee on 10/03/2017
Warrant: Probation Violation
Warrant: Contempt of Court-Failure to Serve Jail Time
Emilie K. Businelle was located and arrested at the Morgan City Police Department on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Businelle was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.
