MCPD Arrest Report 07/23/2018
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 72-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 138 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 07/20/2018:
Dieby G. Molina-Aguilar, 32 years of age, address: Brashear Ave. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/21/2018 @ 1:36 p.m.
Charges: No Driver’s License
Improper Equipment
Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of U.S. 90 with improper tint. A stop was initiated when Dieby G. Molina-Aguilar was identified as the operator of the vehicle. Molina-Aguilar was found not to possess a valid Louisiana Driver’s License. Molina-Aguilar was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Kim M. Stelly, 41 years of age, address: Edwins Ln. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/21/2018 @ 5:41 p.m.
Charges: Driving under Suspension
Patrol officers responded to the area of Victor II Blvd in regard to a vehicle being operated in a reckless manner. Officers arrived when the vehicle in question was located. A stop was initiated when Kim M. Stelly was identified as the operator of the vehicle. Stelly’s Louisiana Driver’s License was found to be under suspension. Stelly was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.
Sherrell Brown, 33 years of age, address: Federal Ave. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/21/2018 8:24 p.m.
Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Probation Fee 07/07/2015
Warrant: Probation Violation
Sherrell Brown was located and arrested in the area of Onstead St. on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Brown was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.
Elmer D. V. Reyes, 24 years of age, address: Cypress St. Amelia, La., arrested on 07/21/2018 @ 10:08 p.m.
Charges: Driving while Intoxicated 2nd Offense

Open Alcoholic Beverage in a Motor Vehicle
Patrol officers responded to the area of Victor II Blvd in regards to a vehicle being operated in a reckless manner. Officers arrived in the area when the vehicle in question was located. The vehicle was observed negotiating an improper turn. A stop was initiated when Elmer D. V. Reyes was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, Reyes was found to be in an intoxicated state. Reyes performed poorly on Standardized Field Sobriety Test. Reyes’ Louisiana Driver’s License was found to be under suspension and he was in possession of an alcoholic beverage in the motor vehicle. Reyes was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail for Chemical Testing which he submitted to registering .155g% blood alcohol content. Reyes was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.
Brian K. Robertson, 23 years of age, address: Wren St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/21/2018 @ 10:53 p.m.

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of LA 182 in the wrong lane to travel. A stop was initiated when Brian K. Robertson was identified as the operator of the vehicle. Robertson’s Louisiana Driver’s License was found to be under suspension. Robertson was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Luis Cisneros, 33 years of age, address: Charlotte Dr. Patterson, La., arrested on 07/22/2018 @ 3:17 a.m.
Charges: Possession of Marijuana

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of LA 70 in an erratic manner. A stop was initiated when Luis Cisneros was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, Cisneros was found to be in possession of suspected Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia. He was also found not to possess a valid Louisiana Driver’s License. Cisneros was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Nathaniel L. Wicks, 20 years of age, address: 79 Pines Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/22/2018 @ 9:38 a.m.

Nathaniel L. Wicks was located and arrested in the area of Front St. on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Wicks was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of Federal Ave. with improper window tint. A stop was initiated when Blair M. Johnson was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, Johnson’s Louisiana Driver’s License was found to be under suspension the vehicle he was operating did not have proper insurance as required by Louisiana Law. Johnson was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Vernon J. Robinson Jr., 32 years of age, address: Chennault St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/22/2018 @ 4:40 p.m.

Patrol officers responded to the area of Railroad Ave. in regards to a vehicle crash. Officers arrived when Vernon J. Robinson Jr. was identified as the operator of one of the vehicles involved. According to reports, Robinson’s Louisiana Driver’s License was found to be under suspension. Robinson was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
