Arrest Report 04/02/2014

The following were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning 04/01/2014:

 

Monica L. Slack, 57 years of age, Address-Morgan City, La. was arrested on 04/01/2014 @ 11:20am

Charge: Warrant: Failure to Pay Fine

Monica Slack was located at a Second St. residence and placed under arrest on an outstanding warrant for the Morgan City Police Department.  She was booked and incarcerated at the Morgan City Jail facility. 

 

Ricky L. Roberts, 33 years of age, Address-Fayette, Miss. was arrested on 04/01/2014 @ 11:42am

Charge: Distribution of Legend Drug without a Presctiption; Possession of Schedule I CDS-Synthetic Marijuana; Fugitive Warrant: Mississippi State Penitentiary

Stephen Detullio, 50 years of age, Address-Berwick, La. was arrested on 04/01/2014 @ 11:42am

Charge: Distribution of Legend Drug w/o a Presciption-Promethazine

Morgan City Police Narcotics Detectives received an anonymous tip in regards to subjects attempting to sell Oxycodone in the area of Greenwood St. and Front St.  The subjects were reportedly in a motor vehicle at that location.  Investigators traveled to that location and located the vehicle in question.  The subjects negotiated the sale of several tablets of reported Oxycodone with the agent.  At the completion of the sale, the subjects were detained by officers.  The money used and reported Oxycodone were recovered.  The pills were discovered to be Promethazine, a presciption medication.  The subjects, Ricky Roberts of Fayete, Mississippi was found to possess a suspected Schedule I CDS-Synthetic Marijuana.  He was also found to be a fugitive from the State of Mississippi after he did not report to serve his sentence for a previous burglary as ordered by the courts.  He and the second subject, Stephen Detullio were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where they were booked and incarcerated. 

 

John P. Washington, 22 years of age, Address-Labedieville, La. was arrested on 04/01/2014 @ 6:12pm

Charge: Warrant: Assumption Parish-Failure to Appear for Possession of Marijuana

John Washington was located at Teche Regional Medical Center and placed under arrest for an outstanding warrant for Assumption Parish Sheriff's Department.  He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.
