MCPD Arrest Report 08/09/2018
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 62 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 08/08/2018:
Ragan Alcina, 39 years of age, Easy St. Patterson, La was arrested on August 8, 2018 @ 932am

Warrant-16JDC FTA for Trial
An officer patrolling the area of Hwy 182 near Hwy 70 observed a vehicle cross over the fog line several times. The officer stopped the vehicle and spoke with the driver Regan Alcina, who told the officer her license was expired. During the stop the officer also learned that the vehicle license plate was expired and that Alcina was wanted by the 16th JDC for Failure to Appear for trial. Alcian was placed under arrest and booked into the Morgan City Police Department Jail.
Bryant K. Harris, 30 years of age, Mars Road Morgan City,La was arrested on August 8, 2018 @ 831 pm.
Charges: Possession of a Legend Drug (Cephalexin Monohydrate)
Narcotics detectives were patrolling the area of Hwy 90 and stopped a vehicle for a license plate violation. During the stop detectives spoke with the passenger Bryant Harris. During the investigation Harris was found to be in possession of a legend drug. Harris was placed under arrest and booked into the Morgan City Police Department Jail.

Elton Pinn came to the Morgan City Police Department and turned himself in on warrants held by the Morgan City Police Department. Pinn was booked into the Morgan City Police Department Jail.
Jessie Pritchard, 28 years of age, Brashear Ave Morgan City,La was arrested on August 9, 2018 @ 5:29am

An officer traveling on Hwy 182 near Ditch Ave was and saw a driver of a vehicle fail to use his signal. The officer stopped the driver Jesse Pritchard and spoke with him at which time learned that his driver's license was suspended and that Morgan City Police Department held warrants for his arrest. Pritchard was placed under arrest and booked into the Morgan City Police Department Jail.
