MCPD Arrest Report 08/16/2018
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 49 calls for service. The following person(s) were arrested as a result beginning 08/15/2018:
Brittney N. Crouch, 32 years of age, Address- Fifth St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 08/15/2018 @ 11:03 am.
Charge: Warrant- Child Desertion
Brittney Crouch was located in the area of Florence St. and placed under arrest for an active warrant for the Morgan City Police Department. The warrant stems from an incident on August 3, 2018, which alleges that Crouch was in an intoxicated state and a five year old child in her custody was able to leave the residence and wander the neighborhood. Crouch was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
James J. Naverre, 63 years of age, Address- Apple St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 08/15/2018 @ 3:14 pm.
Charge: Simple Battery
James Naverre was placed under arrest at the City Court of Morgan City. Reports indicate that Naverre committed a battery on an individual in the lobby area of the Courtroom. Officers arrived and placed Naverre under arrest. Navarre was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Mykella L. Johnson, 31 years of age, Address- Joseph St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 08/15/2018 @ 4:00 pm.
Charge: Warrant- Failure to Pay Fines
Mykella Johnson was placed under arrest at the Morgan City Police Department for an active warrant she held for the 6th Ward City Court. Johnson was booked and incarcerated.
Jaelynn Guerrero, 33 years of age, Address- Front St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 08/15/2018 @ 4:56 pm.

Bryant Francois, 36 years of age, Address- Federal Ave. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 08/15/2018 @ 6:00 pm.

Bryant Francois was transported from the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center to the Morgan City Police Department for an active warrant he held for the 6th Ward City Court. Francois was booked and incarcerated.
Cameron D. Aucoin, 19 years of age, Address- Elm St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 08/15/2018 @ 9:37 pm.
