MCPD Arrest Report 09/14/2018
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 35 calls for service. The following person(s) were arrested as a result beginning on 09/13/2018:
Amon D. Solone, 29 years of age, Address- Susan Dr. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/13/2018 @ 9:10 am.
Charge: Warrant-Failure to Appear for Trial (6cts)
Amon Solone was transported from the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center to the Morgan City Police Department for active warrants he held the 6th Ward City Court. Solone was booked and incarcerated.
Anthony Dixon, 28 years of age, Address- Everett St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/14/2018 @ 6:41 am.
Charge: Warrant- Aggravated Second Degree Battery
Warrant- Possession of Marijuana
Warrant- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Anthony Dixon was transported from the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center to the Morgan City Police Department for active warrants he held for the department. The warrants stem for an incident in August which alleges Dixon armed himself with a pipe and committed a battery on an individual. Dixon was also found to be in possession of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Dixon was booked and incarcerated.
