MCPD Arrest Report 09/18/2018
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 55 calls for service. The following person(s) were arrested as a result beginning on 09/17/2018:
Glenn G. Johnson, 18 years of age, Address- Ferret St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/17/2018 @ 3:19 pm.
Charge: Warrant- Simple Burglary of a Vehicle (2cts)
Warrant- Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling
Glenn Johnson was placed under arrest at the Morgan City Police Department for active warrants he held for the department. The Morgan City Police Department Detective Division began an investigation of vehicle burglaries that had been reported from earlier in the month of September. Johnson was identified as a suspect. According to reports, Johnson admitted to the vehicle burglaries and a residential burglary that occurred in May. Johnson was booked and incarcerated.
Breanna L. Hillebran, 20 years of age, Address- Kem St. Patterson, La. was arrested on 09/17/2018 @ 6:50 pm.
Charge: Warrant- Contempt of Court
Warrant- Probation Violation
Breanna Hillebran was located in the area of LA Hwy 182 near David Dr. and placed under arrest for active warrants she held for the 6th Ward City Court. Hillebran was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Jennifer R. Beecher, 33 years of age, Address- Beadle St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/17/2018 @ 7:37 pm.
Charge: Theft under $1000.00
Officers responded to a local business on LA Hwy 182 in regards to a shoplifter. Management had detained an individual identified as Jennifer Beecher. Reports indicate that Beecher tried leaving the store with items she did not purchase. Beecher was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Yancy P. Guidry, 56 years of age, Address- Houma, La. was arrested on 09/17/2018 @ 9:19 pm.
Charge: Possession of Sch II CDS with Intent to Distribute- Methamphetamine
Officers located Yancy Guidry on LA Hwy 182 near Cottonwood St. Guidry was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine that was packaged for sale. Guidry was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
