MCPD Arrest report for 9-20-2018
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 53 calls for service. The following person(s) were arrested as a result beginning on 09/19/2018:
Isaias Mondragon, 31years of age, Morgan City,La was arrested on 09-19-2018 @ 7:52 am
Charges: Speeding
No Drivers License
No Insurance
Switched License Plate
No Registration
Possession of Marijuana- First Offense
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Officers observed a motorcycle pass another vehicle in a posted school zone and travel faster than the 15 mph speed zone. After stopping the vehicle the officer learned that the driver did not have a valid driver’s license. During the stop the officer learned that the license plate had been switched and the vehicle had no insurance. After placing the driver identified as Mondragon was found to be in possession of suspected Marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Mondragon was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking.
Robert Folse, 23 years of age, Morgan City,La was arrested on 9-19-2018 @ 2:44 pm
Charges: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Resisting an officer by giving False Information
Officers were in the area of Fifth St. and stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. During the stop officers spoke with the driver later identified as Folse. While speaking with Folse officer located a glass pipe and a metal grinder. Officer also learned that Folse had given them the wrong date of birth and the wrong first name during the stop. Folse was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking.
Lamarcus Francois, 24 years of age, Morgan City,La was arrested on 9-19-2018 @ 4:56 pm
Charges: Warrant-FTA to pay fine for Resisting an Officer
Francois was located in the area of Short St in Morgan City. While officers were speaking with Francois it was learned that he had outstanding arrest warrants from City Court of Morgan City for Failure to pay fines on the charge of Resisting an Officer. Francois was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking.
