MCPD Arrest report for 10/16/2018

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 48 calls for service. The following person(s) were arrested as a result beginning on 10/15/2018:

 
Kalyn R. Gros, 29 years of age, Address-Pecan St. Morgan City,La was arrested on 10/15/2018 @2:26 pm

 
Charges: Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated

                 Remaining after being forbidden

 

Officers were called to remove an intoxicated subject from a residence in the Pecan St. area.  Officers spoke with Gros who was advised to leave the residence and not cause any other disturbances.  A short time later officer were called back to the area due to Gros being at another residence where she was asked to leave several times.  Gros was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking.

 

 

Wayne Clark, 46 years of age, Address-Lenny’s Ln Morgan City,La, was arrested on 10/15/2018 @ 3:00 pm

 

  Charge: Warrant-Contempt of Court

 

Clark was arrested at the Morgan City Police Department for warrants from City Court of Morgan City for Contempt of Court.  Clark was booked into the Morgan City Police Department Jail.

 

 

Ronald Richards II, 30 years of age, Address-Aucoin St. Morgan City,La was arrested on 10/15/2018 @ 6:00 pm

  Charge: Malfeasance in Office

 

Richards was arrested after an investigation by Morgan City Police that he had inappropriate contact with an inmate.  Investigators discovered evidence that Richards had been communicating with an inmate in an inappropriate manner.  An arrest warrant was obtained for his arrest and he was booked into the Morgan City Police Department Jail.  Richards had been removed from his position.

 

 

Ricci Yasmin Carranza Guerrero, 23 years of age, Address-5th St. Morgan City,La was arrested on 10/15/2018 @ 10:36 pm

 

Charges: No Headlights
                
No Drivers License

 

Officers in the area of Sixth St. saw a vehicle with no headlights and stopped the driver identified as Guerrero.   Officers spoke with Guerrero during the traffic stop and learned that she did not have a driver’s license.  Guerrero was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking
