Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 72-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 115 calls for service. The following person(s) were arrested as a result beginning on 12/28/2018:
Ryan J. Delahoussaye, 25 years of age, Address-River Rd. Berwick, La. was arrested on 12/28/2018 @ 7:00 pm.

Ryan Delahoussaye was placed under arrest at the Morgan City Police Department for active warrants he held for the 6th Ward City Court. Delahoussaye was booked and incarcerated.
Savion I. Collins, 17 years of age, Address-Bush St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/28/2018 @ 7:51 pm.

Flight from an Officer
An officer on Railroad Ave. observed a vehicle with improper lighting. The officer tried to conduct a traffic stop, but the vehicle continued traveling on Railroad Ave. The vehicle eventually stopped at the intersection Victor II and Martin Luther King Blvd. The driver was identified as Savion Collins. Collins was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Samantha M. Williams, 30 years of age, Address-Hwy 182 Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/29/2018 @ 2:05 am.

Timothy W. Tindall, 45 years of age, Address-Hwy 182 Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/29/2018 @ 2:05 am.
Charge: Domestic Abuse Battery-Child Endangerment Law
Officers responded to a residence on LA Hwy 182 in regards to a domestic disturbance. Officers arrived and spoke to witnesses who identified Samantha Williams and Timothy Tindall as being in a physical altercation. Reports indicate that Williams and Tindall are in a relationship and that the altercation took place in the presence of an 11-month-old child. Officers did observe that both parties having marks and bruises on their facial area. Williams and Tindall were both placed under arrest. The child was turned over to a guardian. Both were transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Anthony Watson, 27 years of age, Address-Garber St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/29/2018 @ 2:35 am.

An officer in the area of Union St. observed a vehicle with only one functioning brake light. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, Anthony Watson was asked to produce a valid driver’s license. Through the course of the investigation, suspected marijuana was located in Watson’s possession. Reports indicated that Watson tried concealing the suspected marijuana from the officer. Watson was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Lawrence Welch, 58 years of age, Address-Church Point, La. was arrested on 12/29/2018 @ 10:38 am.

Bettina L. Duval, 44 years of age, Address-Allison St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/29/2018 @ 10:38 am.

Lawrence Welch and Bettina Duval were located on Justa St. and placed under arrest for active warrants they both held for the Morgan City Police Department. The warrant stems from an incident in November that alleges Welch and Duval were not properly supervising their 8-year-old child. Duval also held a warrant for theft which alleges on December 3rd she had shoplifted items from a business on LA Hwy 182. Welch and Duval were transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Cyrilla G. Fry, 53 years of age, Address-Sixth St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/29/2018 @ 2:45 pm.
Charge: Remaining After Being Forbidden
Officers responded to a business on Brashear Ave. in regards to an individual that was not allowed on the property. Officers arrived and spoke to management, who identified Cyrilla Fry as being prohibited from the property. Officers located Fry outside of the business and placed her under arrest. Fry was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

An officer on Victor II Blvd. observed a vehicle swerving in and out the lane of travel. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver James Bertrand was asked to produce a valid driver’s license. Reports indicate that the officer could smell the odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. Through the course of the investigation, suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia were located inside the vehicle. Bertrand was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Gabriel J. Garcia, 18 years of age, Address-Lebanon, TN was arrested on 12/30/2018 @ 12:18 am.

An officer working security at Lake End Park observed an individual sitting inside a parked vehicle. As the officer approached the vehicle, the smell of marijuana was emitting from the vehicle. The officer came into contact with the individual identified as Gabriel Garcia. Garcia was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Garcia was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Jose A. Melendez, 32 years of age, Address-Sebby Lane Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/30/2018 @ 7:10 pm.

An officer on Hilda St. observed an individual on a bicycle without any lights or reflectors displayed on the bicycle. The officer made contact with the individual identified as Louis Morgan. The officer also located a pair of brass knuckles in Morgan’s possession. Morgan was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Lacy L. Johnson, 34 years of age, Address-Lake Palourde Rd. Amelia, La. was arrested on 12/31/2018 @ 4:12 am.
Charge: Failure to Appear for Arraignment for Resisting an Officer
Lacy Johnson was located on Catherine St. and placed under arrest for an active warrant she held for the 16th Judicial District Court. Johnson was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
