MCPD Arrest Report 01/18/2019
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 42 calls for service. The following person(s) were arrested as a result beginning on 01/17/2019:
Rebecca Martin, 46 years of age, Address-Fifth St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/17/2019 @ 2:45 pm.
Charge: Warrant-Failure to Pay Fines
Rebecca Martin was placed under arrest at her residence on Fifth St. for an active warrant she held for the 6th Ward City Court. Martin was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Erik S. Driskill, 43 years of age, Address-Second St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/18/2019 @ 12:20 am.
Charge: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Eleanor C. Simoneaux, 36 years of age, Address-Jones St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/18/2019 @ 12:20 am.
Charge: Possession of Sch II CDS-Methamphetamine
Erik Driskill and Eleanor Simoneaux were passengers in a vehicle involved in a traffic stop on LA Hwy 182. Through the course of the investigation, Driskill was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and Simoneaux was in possession of suspected methamphetamine. Both subjects were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Cyrilla L. Fry, 53 years of age, Address-Sixth St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/18/2019 @ 12:27 am.
Charge: Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated
Simple Burglary
Officers responded to a business on Brashear Ave. in regards to a removal of an individual. Officers arrived and spoke to employees, who identified Cyrilla Fry as the suspect causing the disturbance. Reports also indicated that witnesses stated that Fry was pulling on car doors in the parking lot of the business. Officers located Lyons in the parking lot and she appeared intoxicated. Fry was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
