Arrest Report 04/15/2014

The following were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning 04/14/2014:

Peter E. Grogan, 35 years of age, Address-Railroad Ave. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 04/14/2014 @ 9:02am

Charge: Warrant: Second Degree Battery

Peter Grogan was located at a Railroad Ave. residence by a patrolling officer and placed under arrest on an outstanding warrant for the Morgan City Police Department charging him with Second Degree Battery from an incident which is alleged to have occurred on April 5th, 2014 where he reportedly struck a female causing injuries which required medical attention.  The subject was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated. 

Anthony J. Harris, 18 years of age, Address-Morgan City, La. was arrested on 04/14/2014 @ 11:25pm

Charge:Illegal Carrying of Weapons; Warrant: Possession of Marijuana; Warrant-Contempt of Court-Failure to Pay Probation Fee; Warrant: Disturbing the Peace

 

A patrolling officer located Anthony Harris near the intersection of Headland St. and Railroad Ave. and placed him under arrest on several outstanding warrants.  Upon searching Harris, officers located a .380 cal. handgun concealed on his person.  Harris, who did not have a valid permit for the weapon was charged with the concealment of that weapon.  He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated. 

Nathan D. Chaisson, 24 years of age, Address-Highway 182 Morgan City, La. was arrested on 04/14/2014 @ 2:54pm

Charge: Warrant: Failure to Pay Probation Fee; Warrant: Probation Violation

Nathan Chaisson was located walking on Highway 90 near Cottonwood St. and placed under arrest on outstanding warrants for the Morgan City Police Department.  He was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.
