Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 43 calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 2/19/2019:
Annette Gash, 54 years of age, Address-Willard St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 2/19/2019 @ 10:11 A.M.
Charge: Warrant-Theft under $1,000.00
Lynette Gant, 54 years of age, Address-Willard St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 2/19/2019 @ 10:11 A.M.
Charge: Warrant-Theft under $1,000.00
Officers of the Morgan City Police Department came into contact with Annette Gash and Lynette Gant on Willard St. It was learned City Court of Morgan City held active warrants on both Gash and Gant. They were placed under arrest and transported to Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
David Anthony Barnett, 47 years of age, Address-HWY 90 Patterson, La., was arrested on 2/19/2019 @ 3:22 P.M.
Charge: Warrant-Failure to Appear
Officers came into contact with David Anthony Barnett on Glenwood St. Officer learned City Court of Morgan City held an active warrant for his arrest. He was placed under arrest and transported to Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration
Daniel Ray McNeal, 40 years of age, Address-Third St., Morgan City, La., was arrest on 2/19/2019 @ 6:57 P.M.
Charge: Entry on or Remaining After Forbidden
Officers were dispatched to Egle St. in reference to a disturbance. Officers came into contact with Daniel Ray McNeal and learned he was previously barred from the property. He was placed under arrest and transported to Morgan City for booking and incarceration.
Niechelle Winley, 30 years of age, Address- Egle St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 2/19/2019 @ 8:16 P.M.
Charge: Possession of a Legend Drug with the Intent to Distribute
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Officers of the Morgan City Police served a search warrant on Egle St. During the search they located Niechelle Winly in possession of legend drug (Trazadone) with the intent to distribute and drug paraphernalia. She was placed under arrest and transported to Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Glenn Gregory Johnson, 19 years of age, Address-Ferret St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 2/20/2019 @ 1:26 A.M.
Charge: Simple Burglary
