MCPD Arrest Report 02/26/2019
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 32 calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 2/25/2019:
Mariano Chavez Arteaga, 20 years of age, Address- 501 Roderick St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 2/25/2019 @ 5:49 A.M.
Charge: Reckless Operation of a Motor Vehicle
Suspended Driver’s License
Officers observed a vehicle driving in a reckless manner on Catherine St. Officers conducted a traffic stop and identified the driver as Mariano Chavez Arteaga. Upon running a computer check on Arteaga license it was learned his driver’s license was suspended. He was placed under arrest and transported to Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Brandon Dewayne Poole, 32 years of age, Address-Garber St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 2/25/2019 @ 8:01 A.M. s
Charge: Warrant-Failure to Appear to Pay Fines (6 counts)
Warrant- Contempt of Court
Officers of the Morgan City Police Department came into contact with Brandon Dewayne Poole on Federal Ave. It was learned City Court of Morgan City held active warrants for his arrest. He was placed under arrest and transported to Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
