MCPD Arrest Report 3/6/2019
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 59 calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 3/4/2019:
Oscar Damian Salas, 46 years of age, Address-14th Street, Pascagoula, Ms., was arrested on 3/4/2019 @ 1:58 A.M.
Charge: Improper Lane Usage
Driving While Intoxicated
Officers conducted a traffic stop on HWY 182 and Roderick St. and identified the driver as Oscar D Salas. During the traffic stop officers suspected impairment. A field sobriety test was conducted, and he performed poorly. He was placed under arrest and transported to Morgan City Police Department. Once at Morgan City Police Department he was given the Intoxilyzer test and gave a breath sample of .217g%. He was booked and incarcerated.
Dwayne Keith Brown, 25 years of age, Address-Robin St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 3/4/2019 @ 9:27 A.M.

Officers conducted a traffic stop HWY LA 70 and identified Dwayne Keith Brown as the driver of the vehicle. During the traffic stop officers located suspected marijuana in his possession. It was learned after running a computer check he did not possess a valid driver’s license and City Court of Morgan City held active warrants for his arrest. He was placed under arrest and transported to Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of Belanger St. and Federal Ave. The driver was identified as Derrick J. Farlow. During the traffic stop officers located suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia in his possession. Upon running a computer check on his driver's license it was learned it was under suspension. He was placed under arrest and transported to Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Officers were dispatched to the area of HWY 182 and Seventh St in reference to a vehicle obstructing the roadway. Upon officers arriving they located the vehicle and identified the driver, Justin T. Wright. During the traffic investigation officer located suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia in his possession. Officers also identified Deandre J. Williams as a passenger in the vehicle. Officers also located suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia in his possession. Both Justin Wright and Deandre Williams were placed under arrest and transported to Morgan City Police Department for Booking and incarceration.

Officers of the Morgan City Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the area of HWY 182 and Roderick St. Officers identified the driver as Troy James Charpentier and passenger as Jodie Charpentier. During the course of the traffic investigation officers located suspected Suboxone, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia in Jodi Charpentier possession. Upon checking warrants it was learned 16th District Court held an active warrant for failure to appear for Troy J. Charpentier. Both Jodie Charpentier and James Charpentier were placed under arrest and transported to Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Amy Jackson, 36 years of age, Address-Third St., Berwick, La., was arrested on 3/5/3019 @ 11:07 P.M.
