MCPD Arrest Report 3/14/2019
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 48 calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 3/12/2019:
Mai Amador, 36 years of age, Address- Pecos St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 3/13/2019 @ 2:30 P.M.
Charge: Identity Theft
Detectives with the Morgan City Police Department conducting an investigation into an allegation of identity theft arrested Mai Amador at Morgan City Police Department. Detectives began their investigation on 2/16/2019 when the victim filed a report with the Morgan City Police Department. She was booked and incarcerated.
David Lennis Aucoin, 41 years of age, Address- Cremo Lane, Patterson, La., was arrested on 3/13/2019 @ 5:59 P.M.

Possession of Schedule II (Methamphetamine)
Narcotic Detectives with the Morgan City Police Department attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by David Aucoin in the area HWY 182. The vehicle failed to stop and continued into Berwick, La. onto U.S. 90. The vehicle eventually pulled over into a parking lot on U.S. 90. Detectives observed Aucoin discarding evidence and attempted to arrest Aucoin. Detectives were able to handcuffed Aucoin and placed him under arrest. Detectives discovered the Item Aucoin was discarding contained suspected Methamphetamine. He was transported to Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Taylor Murphy, 24 years of age, Address-Green Leaf Blvd., Morgan City, La. was arrested on 3/13/2019 @ 7:28 P.M.

Gavin Paul Bellanger, 26 years of age, Address-Matherene St., Lafitte, La., was arrested on 3/13/2019 @ 7:28 P.M.
Charge: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of HWY 182 and Roderick St. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Taylor Murphy. Officers also identified Gavin P. Bellanger as a passenger in the vehicle. During the traffic stop, officers learn City Court of Morgan City held active warrants for Taylor Murphy. Officers located suspected drug paraphernalia in both Murphy and Bellanger's possession. Both Murphy and Bellanger was placed under arrest and transported to Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Courtnie Chenevert, 36 years of age, Address-Onstead St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 3/13/2019 @ 9:21 P.M.
Charge: Warrant-Failure to Appear for Trail (7 Counts)

Officers come into contact with Courtnie Chenevert on Onstead St. Officers learned City Court of Morgan City held active warrants for her arrest. Officers also learned she was wanted by Lafourche Sheriff’s Office and an active warrant. She was placed under arrested and transported to Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration
Summer Billiot, 33 years of age, Address-Mallard St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 3/14/2019 @ 3:04 A.M.
Charge: Possession of Synthetic Marijuana (1st Offense)
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Officers received a complaint of a female walking in the area of HWY LA 70 and David Dr. was in possession of illegal narcotics. Officers came into contact with Summer Martin in the area. Officers located suspected synthetic marijuana and drug paraphernalia in her possession. She was placed under arrest and transported to Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration
