Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 46 calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 3/18/2019:
Toby Dejuan Everage,20 years of age, Address-Fairview Drive, Berwick, La., was arrested on 3/18/2019 @ 10:21 A.M.
Charge: Warrants-Failure to Pay Probation Fee
Failure to Pay Fine
Toby D. Everage was located at Patterson Police Department and placed under arrest on warrants held by City Court of Morgan City. He was transported to Morgan City Police Department and booked and incarcerated.
Charles Duddley Gaspar, 47 years of age, Address-Sixth St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 3/18/2019 @ 3:45 P.M.
Charge: Warrant-Possession of Marijuana 1st Offense
Charles D. Gaspar turned himself into the Morgan City Police Department on a warrant held by the Morgan City Police Department. He was booked and incarcerated.
Seth Michael Ray, 18 years of age, Address-Antill Dr., Thibodaux, La., was arrested on 3/18/2019 @ 9:49 P.M.

Possession of Methamphetamines under 2 grams
Dawnson Paul Ruiz, 19 years of age, Address-Paul St., Pierre Part, La., was arrested on 3/18/2019 @ 10:02 P.M.

Obstruction of Justice-Tampering with Evidence
Officers conducted a traffic stop on Martin Luther King Blvd and Amber St. and identified the driver as Seth M. Ray. Officers also identified the passenger as Dawson P Ruiz. During the traffic stop officers located suspected marijuana, methamphetamines, and drug paraphernalia in Ray's possession. Officers observed Ruiz ingesting some suspected marijuana in his possession. Officers also located suspected drug paraphernalia in Ruiz's possession. Both Ray and Ruiz were placed under arrest and transported to Morgan City for booking and incarceration.
Rochella Williams, 42 years of age, Address-Kentucky St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 3/18/2019 @ 10:20 P.M.
Charge: Theft under $1,000.00
Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Belanger St. and Front St. in reference to a theft of a cab fare. Upon officers arriving they learned from the victim that Rochella Williams owed $12.00 cab fare and had no intent to pay for the cab fare. She was placed under arrested and transported to Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
