MCPD Arrest 3/29/2019
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 40 calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 3/18/2019:
Shaqunia Marie Harris, 24 years of age, Address-Arizona St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 3/28/2019 @ 7:30 A.M.
Charge: Warrants-Failure to Appear
Failure to Pay Fines (4 Counts).
Shaqunia M. Harris was located at Morgan City Police Department and placed under arrest on outstanding warrants held by City Court of Morgan City. Harris was booked and incarcerated.
Heather Renee Ganaway, 32 years of age, Address-Sixth St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 3/28/2019 @ 8:48 P.M.
Charge: Warrants- Failure to Appear
Failure to Pay Fines (5 Counts)
An officer conducted a traffic stop on HWY 182 and identified Heather R. Ganaway as on occupant of the vehicle. A warrants check revealed City Court of Morgan City held active warrants for her arrest. She was placed under arrest and transported to Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Heath Anthony Loupe, 22 years of age, Address-Rose St., Berwick, La., was arrested on 3/29/2019 @ 12:06 A.M.
Charge: Warrant- Illegal Carrying of Weapons -Burglary Tools
An officer came into contact with Heath A. Loupe in the area of Federal Ave. and Bowman St. A warrants checked revealed Morgan City Police Department held an active warrant for his arrest. He was placed under arrest and transported to Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Meagan Luren Jumper, 22 years of age, Oregan St., Berwick, La., was arrested on 3/29/2019 @ 2:04 A.M.
Charge: Warrant-Failure to Appear
An officer conducting a traffic stop on Allison St. came into contact with Meagen L. Jumper. A warrants check revealed an active warrant held by City Court for her arrest. Jumper was placed under arrested and transported to Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
