MCPD Arrest Report 4/3/2019
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 45 calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 4/2/2019:
Jerry Lee Favors, 54 years of age, Address-Railroad Ave., Morgan City, La was arrested on 4/2/2019 @ 6:21 P.M.
Charge: Warrants-Failure to Appear to Pay Fines( 2 Counts)
Hold- Patterson Police Department
Officers came into contact with Jerry L. Favors on Railroad Ave. A warrant checked revealed active warrants were held for arrest by City Court of Morgan City and Patterson Police Department. He as placed under arrest and transported to Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Roman Bayda, 41 years of age, Address-Amber Ave., Rowett, Tx., was arrested on 4/2/2019 @ 11:14 P.M.
Charge: Turn Signal Violation
Possession of Marijuana (1st Offense)
An Officer on patrol observed a vehicle commit a turn signal violation on HWY 182. The officer conducted a traffic stop on Sandra St. and identified the driver as Roman Bayda. During the traffic stop, suspected marijuana was located in Bayda possession. He was placed under arrest and transported to Morgan City Police Department.
Reinnaldo Joel Mejia, 27 years of age, Address-Fourth St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 4/2/2019 @ 11:59 P.M.
Charge: Warrant- Domestic Abuse Battery
An officer located Reinnaldo Mejia on Fourth St. and arrested him on an active warrant held by Morgan City Police Department. He was transported to Morgan City Police Department and incarcerated.
Brett Bagliardi, 23 years of age, Address-Saragosa Pond Lane, Spring, Tx., was arrested on 4/3/2019 @ 1:02 A.M.
Charge: Possession of Marijuana
Officers conducting an investigation of illegal narcotic activity at a local motel on HWY 182 came into contact with Brett Bagliardi. During the investigation officers located suspected marijuana in his possession. He was placed under arrest and transported to Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
