MCPD Arrest Report 4/10/2019
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 34 calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 4/9/2019:
Wayne Joseph Billiot, 53 years of age, Address-Railroad Ave., was arrested on 4/9/2019 @ 8:24 A.M.
Charge: Warrant-Aggravated Crimes Against Nature
On 4-8-2019 Morgan City Police Detective Division received a complaint alleging Wayne J. Billiot had inappropriate sexual contact with a female child under the age of 13. Upon the conclusion of the Detectives investigation, an arrest warrant was obtained for Wayne Billiot. Upon Detectives attempting to locate Billiot, it was learned he had left the Morgan City area. With the assistance of Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office and the U.S. Marshal Task Force Billiot was located in Harvey, La and taken into custody. On 4-9-2019 Wayne J. Billiot was transported to Morgan City Police Department and booked into Morgan City jail.
Robert Paul Stansbury Jr. 35 years of age, Address-Park Ridge Ave., Baton Rouge, La., was arrested on 4-9-2019 @ 11:02 A.M.
Charge: Criminal Trespass
Officers patrolling Brashear Ave. observed a subject later identified as Robert P Stansbury Jr. acting suspiciously. Stansbury fled the area upon seeing police in the area and attempted to hide from officers on private property He was placed under arrest and transported to Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Krystal L Meranta, 29 years of age, Address-Clark Rd. #2, was arrested on 4/8/2019 @ 4/9/2019 @ 5:50 P.M.
Charge: Warrants- Contempt of Court (2 Counts)
Krystal Meranta was located at the Morgan City Police Department and placed under arrest on warrants held by City Court of Morgan City. She was booked and incarcerated.
Joseph Guillory Soto, 32 years of age, Address-Sixth St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 4/9/2019 @ 1:41 A.M.
Charge: Warrant-Contempt of Court (3 Counts)
Failure to Pay Fine (4 Counts)

Kenneth M. Richard, 35 years of age, Address-HWY 182, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 4/10/2019 @ 1:41 A.M.
