MCPD Arrest Report 4/26/2019
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 50 calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 4/26/2019:
Savana White, 19 years of age, Address-Aristile Rd., Morgan City, La., was arrested 4/25/2019 @ 08:15 A.M.
Charge: Warrant-Failure to Appear (2 Counts)
Savana White was located at Morgan City Police Department and arrested on active warrants held by City Court of Morgan City. She was booked and incarcerated.
Robert Paul Stansbury Jr., 35 years of age, Address-Chaisson Rd., Abbeville, La., was arrested on 4/25/2019 @ 9:50 A.M.
Charge: Warrant- Direct Contempt of Court (2 Counts)
Robert P. Stansbury Jr. was located at Morgan City Police Department and was arrested on active warrants held by City Court of Morgan City. He was booked and incarcerated.
Darrell Riggins, 29 years of age, Address-Glenwood St., Morgan City, La. was arrested on 4/25/2019 @ 3:10 P.M.
Charge: Warrant- Possession of Marijuana (1st Offense)
Illegal use of CDS in the Presence of a person under 21
Darrell Riggins was located in City Court of Morgan City and placed under arrest on an active warrant held by Morgan City Police Department. The warrant stems from August 9, 2018, investigation when officers came into contact with Darrell Riggins. During the investigation, he was found to be in possession of suspect marijuana. At the conclusion of the investigation, an arrest warrant was issued for Riggins. He was booked and incarcerated.
Deondra Franklin Walker, 22 years of age, Address-Federal Ave, Morgan City, La., was arrested 4/25/2019 @ 11:51 P.M.
Charge: Failure to Appear
An officer conducted a traffic stop on HWY 182 and identified the driver as Deondrea Franklin Walker. A warrant checked revealed 16th District Court held an active warrant for her arrest. She was placed under arrest and transported to Morgan City Police Department
