MCPD Arrest Report 5/2/2019

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 33 calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 5/1/2019:

Jason James Ashley, 31 years of age, Address-Campo Lane, Amite, La., was arrested on 5/1/2019
@ 1:20 P.M. 

Charge: Warrants- Failure to Appear 
                               Contempt of Court

Jason J. Ashley was located at St. Mary L.E.C.and placed under arrest on active warrants held by City Court of Morgan City. He was transported to Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration. 

Randy M. Pinkerton, 22 years of age, Address-Filmore St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 5/1/2019 @ 4:25 P.M. 

Charge: Domestic Abuse Battery
               Criminal Damage to Property

Officers were dispatched to a Filmore St. residence in reference to a disturbance. Upon officers arriving they learned Randy Pinkerton had committed a battery on a female and damaged a cell phone while at the residence. Randy Pinkerton was located a short distance from the residence and placed under arrest. He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration. 

Keddrick D. Jones, 32 years of age, Address-Belanger St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 5/1/2019 @ 6:20 P.M. 

Charge: Warrants-Possession of Marijuana 
                              Disturbing the Peace Fighting

Keddrick Jones turned himself into the Morgan City Police Department on active warrants held by the Morgan City Police Departement. He was booked and incarcerated. 

Lacey Lynn Scully, 25 years of age, Address-Grandwood Dr., Patterson, La., was arrested on 5/1/2019 @ 11:28 P.M. 

Charge: Fugitive from Justice

Officers came into contact with Lacey Scully on HWY 182. A warrant check revealed Assumption Parish Sheriff's Office held an active warrant for her arrest for Unauthorized use of a Motor Vehicle. She was placed under arrest and transported to Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
