MCPD Arrest 5/3/2019
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 36 calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 5/3/2019:
Carlos Daniel Martinez-Paniagua, 26 years of age, Address-Chennault St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 5/2/2019 @ 8:00 A.M.
Charge: Warrants-Failure to Appear (3 Counts)
Carlos Daniel Martinez-Paniagua was located at Pine Praire I.C.E. Processing Detention Center in Pine Praire, La on active warrants held by City Court of Morgan City. He was placed under arrested and transported to Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Shawn Bradell Durkins, 25 years of age, Address-Mallard St., Morgan City, La. was arrested on 5/2/2019 @ 1:00 P.M.
Charge: Warrant-$1,000.00 to $5,000.00
Shawn B. Durkins was located at Ashland Detention Center in Terrebonne Parish on an active warrant held by Morgan City Police Department. He was transported to Morgan City Police Department and booked and incarceration. The warrant stems from a February 3, 2019 theft investigation conducted by Morgan City Detectives Division. Investigators identified Shawn Durkins entering a Victor II Blvd. business and concealing merchandise on his person valued at $1,700.00. before fleeing the business.
John Clifton Aucoin, 37 years of age, Address-Delmar St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 5/2/2019 @ 1:54 P.M.
Charge: Warrant-Failure to Appear
A patrol officer conducted a traffic stop on HWY 182 and identified the driver as John C. Aucoin. A warrants check revealed City Court of Morgan City held an active warrant for his arrest. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Janna Mallory Gilmore, 33 years of age, Address-Arcemont Lane, Bayou Vista, La., was arrested on 5/2/2019 @ 3:14 P.M.
Charge: Warrants- Failure to Appear (3 Counts)
A patrol officer came into contact with Janna M. Gilmore on Belanger St. A warrant check revealed 16th District Court held active warrants for her arrest. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Joseph Jerry Julien, 53 years of age, Address- Arizona St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 5/2/2019 @ 4:40 P.M.
Charge: Warrant- Driving under suspension
