MCPD Arrest Report 5/15/2019
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 51 calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 5/14/2019:
Jalen Anthony Walker, 27 years of age, Address-Willow St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 5/14/2019 @ 1:50 P.M.
Charge: Indecent Behavior with Juvenile
Carnal Knowledge of Juvenile
Computer-Aided Solicitation of a Minor
Carnal Knowledge of Juvenile
Possession of Marijuana (First Offense)
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
In March 2019 Morgan City Police Department Detectives assigned to the Louisiana Internet Crime’s Against Children taskforce received information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) which led to Jalen Walker being identified as a suspect. Through further investigation, an arrest warrant was issued for Walker. On May 14, 2019, Walker was located and placed under arrest on the warrant held by Morgan City Police Department with the assistance of Saint Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office. A search warrant was executed at Walker’s residence at which time suspected marijuana, paraphernalia, and Schedule II Hydrocodone was located. He was booked into the Morgan City Police Department and incarcerated.
Joseph James Thibodeaux, 21 years of age, Address-West Ibert St., Franklin, La., was arrested on 5/14/2019 @ 2:31 P.M.
Charge: Resisting An Officer
An officer investigating a disturbance call at a local hotel on HWY 182 came into contact with Joseph J Thibodeaux. During the officer's investigation, Thibodeaux falsely identified himself by another name. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Appala Raju Allipilli, 43 years of age, Address-Homeless, was arrested on 5/14/2019 @ 9:13 P.M
Charge: Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated
An officer on patrol came into contact with Appala Raju Allipilli in the area of the Baseball Complex next to the Morgan City Auditorium. The officer observed he was in an intoxicated condition. He was placed under arrest and transported to Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Warren Brown, 38 years of age, Address-La 1, Labadieville, La., was arrested on 5/14/2019 @ 11:30 P.M.
Charge: Failure to Appear.
Warren Brown was located at the Morgan City Police Department and placed under arrest on outstanding an outstanding warrant held by City Court of Morgan City. He was booked and incarcerated.
