MCPD Arrest Report 6/25/2019
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 48 calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 6/25/2019:
Bryanshekia Shantell Harris, 31 years of age, Address-Adams St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 6/24/2019 @ 9:00 A.M.
Charge: Simple Battery
While incarcerated at the Morgan City Police Department Bryanshekia S Harris committed a battery on another inmate. She was booked and incarcerated.
Chad Michael Carmouche, 39 years of age, Address-Second St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 6/24/2019 @ 12:06 P.M.
Charge: Warrant-Neglect of Family
A patrol officer came into contact with Chad M Carmouche in the area of Roderick St. and Glenwood St. A warrants check revealed 16th District Court held an active warrant for his arrest. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Takiyah Niani Lanceslin, 20 years of age, Address-Harrington Dr., Lafayette, La., was arrested on 6/24/2019 @ 3:41 P.M.
Charge: Possession of Marijuana under 14 grams (1st Offense)
A patrol officer was dispatched to the area of Federal Ave and Egle St. in reference to a suspicious vehicle. The responding officer located the vehicle and identified the driver as Takiyah Niani Lanceslin. During the officer's investigation, she was found in possession of suspected marijuana. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
