Yvonne Marsh, 51 years of age, Address-Ciro St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/12/2014 @ 12:31pm
Charge: Possession of Schedule I CDS-Marijuana; Failure to Signal Turn
A patrolling officer observed a vehicle fail to signal a turn in the area of Roderick St. and Highway 182 and stopped the vehicle to investigate. Upon coming into contact with the driver, Yvonne Marsh, the officer detected a strong odor of marijuana. The officer recovered a small amount of suspected marijuana inside the vehicle which was recovered. Marsh was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and incarcerated. She was released after posting a cash bond.
Elbert E. Ferrer, 25 years of age, Address-McAllen,Texas was arrested on 05/12/2014 @ 2:55pm
Charge: Warrant: Aggravated Second Degree Battery (Domestic Violence)
Elbert Ferrer turned himself in to the Morgan City Police Department where he was arrested on an outstanding warrant for Aggravated Second Degree Battery based on a warrant accusing Ferrer of striking a female with a food tray during an domestic disturbance on May 01, 2014. The victim in the battery required medical treatment for injuries sustained in the altercation. Ferrer was booked and released after posting a $5000.00 bond.
Jeremiah J. Aucoin, 31 years of age, Address-Pluto St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/12/2014 @ 4:10pm
Charge: Warrant: Two Headlights Required; Warrant: Driving Under Suspension
Jeremiah Aucoin, who was already incarcerated in the Morgan City Jail facility was booked on additional warrants for the Morgan City Police Department. He was remains incarcerated.
Hubert J. Keller, 42 years of age, Address-Terrebone St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/12/2014 @ 6:26pm
Charge: Appearing in Public Intoxicated
Hubert Keller was arrested after an officer with the Morgan City Police Department was summoned to the area of the 500 block of Terrebone St. regarding a subject causing a disturbance. Officers arrived and located Keller in that area shouting and using profane language causing the neighbors to become alarmed. Keller was found to be in an intoxicated condition and arrested. He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.
