MCPD Arrest Report 8/14/2019

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 42 calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 08/13/2019:

Patricia Savoie, 48 years of age, Address-Fourth St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 8/13/2019 @ 12:15 P.M.

Charge: Warrants-Contempt of Court (13 Counts)
                               Failure to Appear (3 Counts) 

Patricia Savoie was located by Assumption Sheriff's Office. Savoie was transported to the Morgan City Police Department. She was booked and incarcerated at the Morgan City Police Department.

Louis Joseph Dumesnil Jr., 51 years of age, Address-Oakwood Dr., Franklin, La., was arrested on 8/13/2019 @ 4:15 P.M. 

Charge: Warrants-Failure to Appear (6 Counts)
                              Fugitive 

Louis Joseph Dumesnil was turned over to the Morgan City Police Department by a Fugitive Bonding Recovery Agency on active warrants held by City Court of Morgan City and 16th District Court. He was booked and incarcerated. 

Derick Domingue, 32 years of age, Address-Shell Beach Road, Pierre Part, La., was arrested on 8/13/2019 @ 5:40 P.M. 

Charge: Warrant-Failure to Appear

Derick Domingue was located by Assumption Sheriff's Office. Domingue was transported to the Morgan City Police Department. He was booked and incarcerated at the Morgan City Police Department.
Dakota Daigle
Dakota Aubrey Daigle, 26 years of age, Address-Second St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 8/13/2019 @ 9:52 P.M. 

Charge: Possession with the Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine
               Violation of Uniform CDS Laws-Drug Free Zone

Detectives with the Morgan City Narcotics Division investigating illegal narcotic activity at a local motel came into contact with Dakota Aubrey Daige. During the Detectives investigation, Daigle was found to be in possession of suspected  Methamphetamine that was destined sales in the Morgan City area. Daigle was with in a posted drug-free zone. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
